"There's a reason why you must wait in line to get a cone, cup, or sundae at Rich's Farm its fantastic. Well, waiting in line isn't great, but the end result is some of the best ice cream you will ever enjoy. Our most recent visit to Rich's Farm (and there have been many this Summer) was the best. It was a warm weekend evening and we had time to kill a good thing too because there were more than 75 people in line in front of us. There was a communal feel, however, as we waved to acquaintances and chatted with others we were standing in line with. The time passed quickly and within 45 minutes we were sitting at an open picnic table enjoying our ice cream. With the barn in the background and dozens of ice cream lovers surrounding us, we felt like we were at an old time ice cream social at the town green. Rich's has the creamiest and richest (no pun intended) ice cream in the area. Maple walnut and coconut, on this trip, had great flavor. Nuts in the maple walnut were omnipresent and good size pieces. The coconut was very smooth and had a real depth of tropical flavor. Prices here are always very reasonable and the portion size extremely generous. Do not be discouraged when you pull into the lot (or overflow field). Six windows keeps the line moving and you may meet some one new while waiting in line and you definitely will enjoy the ice cream."
