"In light of the situation, the manager offered us a complimentary dessert valued at $15, but given the prolonged wait for our entrees, I felt a more appropriate gesture would have been to comp the entrees or even the entire meal. While I could have requested this, the essence of good hospitality lies in ensuring guests feel valued and satisfied, rather than putting them in a position to negotiate for adequate service recovery. I understand that errors can occur, but the true measure of a restaurant is how they handle those errors. With entrees costing nearly $40, I expected an exceptional response when problems arose, but unfortunately, that was not the case."
