"Went here for brunch with several girlfriends after reading positive articles about it as a new Philly restaurant. You definitely need to be in your 20s or 30s to enjoy this experience. The food was very good and our server was also good. However the kitchen staff missed one entrée order altogether and by the time they brought it out, the rest of us had finished our meal so we said we didn’t want it. We were then charged a $4fee for sharing a plate! The biggest complaint, however, was the noise level. We were in a side room area not the main bar, but it was still so incredibly loud initially, that you could not have a conversation or even hear someone on the other side of the table. Our server did ask for the volume to be turned down and it was slightly so that at least conversation could be had, but it was not enjoyable. There was a speaker for our room, and they basically had a DJ with an entire sound system set up, so I don’t understand why the volume had to be as loud as it was in our room that initially only had our group in it. By the time we left, there were two other tables with diners added, not young people watching the football game. Honestly, it was so loud that even if the other diners had wanted to hear, they probably would’ve been able to hear from the speakers in the main room. It really is a shame because the food was excellent."
