"Had made a reservation for Valentine’s Day 2/14 for 8:30pm It took a minute for someone to acknowledge us enter the door and waiting at the front desk station. As we were being led to our table by the one waitress/hostess, an elderly woman came barrelling up to us saying that the couple who had entered after us needed to be seated. That they had a reservation. Not once did she check to see that we too had a reservation. After an aggressive exchange of words from this woman, our waitress apologised for her and sat us at our table. Before our waitress left she did inform us that there was a back up in the kitchen and that all orders were taking about 45 min to come to the table. We were ok with that and figured we’d order a few drinks and a appetiser to kill time. Wrong. It was 36 minutes before anyone made eye contact with us. We didn’t get water, or anyone to even take an order. Was very disappointed in the lack of service as well with the way we were treated. The food smelled amazing it’s just a shame we never got to try"

"We dined at Triple 8 before the P!nk concert at the Staples Center. Despite the reviews I had read that mentioned slow service, we did not experience that at all. Following our waiter’s recommendation, we ordered the suppenknödel, roasted brittle sprudel, and beef know-how fun. While it is pricey for Chinese food considering the portion sizes, we were happy with our choices. Given its prime location and convenience to the Staples Center, the cost felt justified. I will definitely return!"
