"Ate here on a weekend evening and based on how full the restaurant was (maybe 25% full), we were a bit skeptical of how the food would taste. Located between N/S SR 15 it's right beside the diner. Great selection of several craft beers and decent wine list. Looked like a great place for a drink, but again I was wondering if this would be bar food or a true restaurant. Thus, I took the safe route and ordered a Diablo burger. My wife ordered the ribeye...J Tavern had several steak options on their menu. Everything cam out cooked perfectly and even though my wife's steak was 18 ounces, I couldn't muster a bite. She said it was wonderful so I am taking her word. Burger was moist and delicious. Defiantly ordering a steak on our next visit. Service was attentive and friendly. Would recommend for anyone."
