"My son and I stopped in to grab a bite to eat. We both ordered different corned beef sandwiches. My son had ordered the larger sandwich, which was priced the same as what I had ordered. When they arrived, I was actually a bit shocked to see the size difference between the two. My sandwich only had a few slices of meat versus the absolutely mound on his. I wouldn't have cared much, except were the exact same price with no additional items for the smaller one to compensate. Had we not ordered the same thing I would likely had not noticed or even said anything, but the side by side comparison was hard to notice. The only other issue was the sheer amount of oil(butter? that was in the sandwich was so overwhelming it was hard to eat. After it started getting a little cold, it was unappealing. I spoke to the waitress, who asked the manager to come over regarding the issue. I wasn't upset, but genuinely curious as to how the restaurant could charge the same for these two hugely disproportionate items. I wanted them to be able to see the sandwich size difference, since a visual reference helped. From our seat, I could see the manager's reaction to the waitresses comments. The manager went back to the bar and finished her conversation with the people at the bar, cleaned up and after about 10 minutes came over to resolve the issue. The manager explained that while his order should have had double the size, it shouldn't have been this big of a difference. She removed one sandwich from the bill and did provide a gift certificate for future use, but this wasn't really what I was looking for. She didn't address the question, which is how the restaurant justifies charging the same amount for two different amounts of food? This was just sort of shrugged off. Whether it's double or triple the size, that's a huge difference that someone setting the two meals side by side will question. Maybe it wasn't originally supposed to be that way, and someone who doesn't know the food served or the restaurant created this menu and price. I will use the gift card provided to visit them in the future and see if they have resolved these small issues."

"2. **Well-Structured Menu:** The menu at Anyways is carefully crafted, featuring a diverse range of dishes to suit all palates. Each option looked delicious, and as I observed the meals being served to other tables on the patio, it was evident that everything was prepared with great attention to detail. I particularly enjoyed the dedicated section for vegetarian dishes, which made navigating the extensive menu much easier. 3. **Versatile Atmosphere:** I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a restaurant as adaptable as Anyways. The owners have done an impressive job of creating a space that is family-friendly, intimate enough for a romantic date, lively enough for a night out with friends, and tranquil enough for dining with an elderly family member or even eating solo. The warm lighting indoors creates a relaxed ambiance, and the music is at just the right volume for conversation. The minimalist decor contrasts wonderfully with the modern architecture, producing an environment that feels both inviting and nostalgically familiar. I’ll be sure to share more photos from my next visit. Additionally, I must mention that the prices are very reasonable, and every item we ordered surpassed our expectations. 4. **Remarkable Flavor:** Each dish was beautifully plated, and everything arrived promptly at the perfect temperature. The flavors were exceptional—every sauce, from the chipotle ranch to the Caesar dressing, was rich and delicious without being overwhelming. The appetizers, particularly the mozzarella sticks, were downright heavenly, and every salad tasted crisp and fresh. My main dish was one of the best vegetarian meals I’ve had in the suburbs, loaded with generous toppings from cheeses to fresh vegetables, and the seasoning on the breading was spot-on. I even enjoyed the leftovers the next day, which speaks volumes for a veggie flatbread. I couldn’t help but dive into the generous serving of Oreo ice cream before snapping a photo (you can see the spoon marks!). In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend enhancing your next dining experience by visiting this remarkable restaurant. Anyways, you’ve truly earned a special place in my heart—thank you for a genuinely delightful experience!"

"we go here a lot, and it's one of our favorite foods to eat and one we can usually be consistently good. we usually go to breakfast or lunch, dinner very rare. we had visited family and decided to go to dinner and we were a little disappointed because it was not the norm. I guess Sunday night is not a good night to go? there were only 3-5 tables of guests at most within the hour we were there and it was surprisingly difficult to get the attention of a server from the two working. they totally ignored us when we tried to get their attention at several locations, and she wasn't even friendly when she helped our server to bring our food out. the other who was actually our server was very nice and friendly, but seemed to treat most work; waiting for the tables to get drinks from the bar, and much time on the computer to spend ordering in and checked. then, at 6:20 the other server came out of the kitchen with a bucket and mop! suddenly there was this terrible strong smell of clorox. not something they want to meet when eating. I'm sorry for those who just start their meal or eat. it wasn't even 6:30! Luckily we just finished our meal and were happy as it actually made our eyes water. but it took 20 minutes after I got our check before I finally got up and went to the register so I could close our ticket. the food was not as good as it is in the rule. we have approached the place before going and then nobody was really impressed by eating. Not bad, just in order. as regrettable as it is a place we can normally count on to be consistently good. do not think that we are going back to dinner on Sunday, as it does not seem to be a good time to go."

"What an F 'n **** show!!! First the draft list had 10 beers and 6 of them were out...after we finally got a beer (Miller lite seemed easy enough) my wife 's glass came with some kind of science project on it. The science project was wiped off on a tissue and she drank out of the glass anyway because getting a new glass seemed like a production ...the bartender was a TRAINWRECK. 5 total people at the bar including us and we could hear her bitching about being busy...I ordered the prime rib cause it was on their hardcover menu, so obviously it should ALWAYS be on, well it wasn 't on and when I ordered I should have known by the waitresses face that something was up...reordered 10-15 later after our waitress was telling one of the other 5 people that ordered the prime rib they were out and got the Delmonico instead, actually cooked well (got MR)...however waitress asked if I needed steak sauce, I asked her for horseymayo and she looked confused, again...she finally returns and brings me this half filled 2oz portion cup of **** that looks like it was taken off the dishwasher station or the table before us that got horsey sauce...I didn 't even touch it, by that time I was ready to bail and get the bill...this is the first time reading yelp reviews and taking a chance on a new place that I had to say wtf were people thinking??? I will never be back not even for a beer...being someone in the foodservice/hospitality business I always give places the benefit of the doubt but this places best thing to do would be to set a match to the place"
