"Husband and I got Chips and Salsa/Queso for an appetizer. The queso was pretty decent. The chips were incredibly salty, as in we had to wipe some of them off before they were okay and others were just inedible. The salsa is heavy on the cilantro, so if you are one of those people where it tastes like soap, best to avoid altogether. The drinks were good. I had an Island Tiki, very sweet but not too much so. He had a pineapple coconut Mule, which was decent as well.Dinner itself was Buffalo Chicken Wraps for me with a loaded baked potato on the side, hubby had the Country Fried Steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. The wraps were huge and had good flavor but fell just short of spectacular, I think it was the slaw like filler that crumbled everywhere that did it. It had almost too much flavor that it was fighting with the chicken. The loaded baked potato was meh. A bit short on flavor to be loaded since I don't eat sour cream it was just butter and shredded cheese... which didn't really melt into the potato, leaving me under-whemled.The Countey Fried Steak was good. Nice breading texture and the steak was tender but it overall lacking in seasonings and flavor. The mashed potoes were okay, but a bit more seasonings would again, not go awry. The gravy was heavy on the milk or cream flavor and overall just tasted off The green beans however, quite stood out as the best flavor on the plate. They were tender without being mushy and had really good flavor over all.Our server was super friendly and while it took a while to be served.... we could understand why as the tables next to us kept getting incorrect items or missing items from their order (not his fault, other people from the kitchen were being tasked with bringing out food which I find strange as they brought our appetizer to the table next to us and served it to them before the table stopped them and we were able to let them know that it was ours.. So, while I understand that Saturdays are a busy time for restaurants... the kitchen staff needs a bit more polish as well as some of the wait staff. And perhaps they should revisit having other staff deliver food to tables that they aren't in charge of so that items don't get missed or taken to the wrong table. Just a thought. So while the evening wasn't a disaster, it just was not an experience we wish to have again, so do with that what you will."

"Yesterday was our day/night date with my dear wife. We looked at a movie and went to dinner. During the movie I saw that we were going to eat and my wife 's Eyes Lit Up as it was an early Christmas or that she thought she couldn't cook either. We didn't know where to eat, so I threw out some wonderful places to continue our date, but my wife looked at me from the corner of her eyes and I knew that would not work. So, I threw out another location of Cheddars. Now her eyes shone again, she even had a big smile on her face. She agreed to Cheddars. We weren't here, and it's been about 6 years since we visited the best drinks in the spring and had Awesome servers every time we left. I dusted the Vette-Jet, we cleaned up. We have from Cheddar 's here a few times and it is always packed with customers. When we arrived, there were several cars parked, but not packed. It went in and there were about 15 people who just arrived and were led by the hostess. Our turn showed up and we were shown at a stand. Our server, Rylee, came by and we talked for a while before we order our drinks. My wife asked Rylee if she was a model because she is absolutely beautiful and I totally agree. She said she was 't, kind of blurred and we talked more before we order our drinks. My wife has a Miller Lite with a glass of ice for my wife and I'm with a big Frozen Texas Margarita. While our drinks are made, we looked over the menu. When Rylee returned with our drinks, we put our order. We start with her honey butter croissants; Flaky Croissants drowned with homemade honey butter. My Wife 's Main Entrée is ordered by their Appetizer menu, Wisconsin cheese bites; hand broken, slightly baked mozzarella cheese bites. Served with Home Made Ranch Dressing. I have her Steakhouse Burger ; (med rare) 1/2 Pound Seasoned Burger with BACON, Cheddar Cheese, BBQ Sauce, tomatoes, Pickles, Sautéed Onions, Mayo Mustard. Served with French fries. Now for our drinks. We crowned our long day/night date and a beautiful day. My Texas Frozen Margarita is tasty and very cold. My wife always enjoys her Miller Lite Love You Baby. While we enjoy our drinks Rylee brought out our croissants and the dish is a beautiful presentation of Four Glistening Shiny Fluffy Lite Croissants. We both grabbed the one who called our name, and they are flakyliciousness and love, the Honey Butter. Before we caught one, I gave Rylee the Dollar Bow Tie Award because she already deserves it. Tell her what it was for, and she was excited, gave a big smile and thank you and said we had done her day. Back to the beautiful croissants. You are so light Fluffylicious you can not stop eating them, but you do because you run out. You can order more and more, but we have our order out soon. Our food arrived now and the 'Wisconsin cheese bites' are exactly what they are as slightly grounded and with little green Christmas decorations beautiful touch Cheddars. There are so many of them that my wife will not be able to eat all of them, so I need to help her eat them, it's what I do. My 'Steakhouse Burger' is a thing of beauty with slightly golden French fries on the side. The burger is perfectly cooked and has amazing taste. Two good pieces from BACON tops it off and everything inside is exactly the right amount of Tastyliciousness. I love Burgers and this is really big and tasty. As I said, I could eat a burger every day because you can make them a thousand and a kind and more. These 'Cheese Bites' are Stretchylicious and very Tasty. Her Ranch Dressing Dipping Sauce is also very tasteful and it is enough for all these bites. We didn't all eat and take some home."

"Haven't been to this location in quite some time. But it's a mixed review. Had some goods and some bad. Parking at Cheddars was fast and easy. The place didn't seem packed compared to the rest of the other places in the area. Which was a plus since Pennington field had marching band competition currently ongoing. This was our second pick, we decided to wait our chance for a table. Table was fresh and clean, this is good and bad. Still wet is no bueno when you rub your hand in it first thing. Glad it was clean but would have been better if dried a bit more. Seemed clean for the most part though. Customer service was great. Even towards the end, when we noticed their table side tablets had our complete table orders a bit wrong, he quickly fixed them up. Had some cash to give another party at our table to make up for another error though. No biggie at all. The food, most of it was pretty good. The monte cristo should have been maybe fried a bit more. It was a bit too much soggy for my taste. I like a bit more crispy outside than like a donut sandwich feel to it. Chips and queso apps were simple. Chicken breasts from my friend was a bit too salty. But overall food was ok. There were slightly more better bits than bad. Just middle of the road. Steaks were cooked nicely though. Medium and medium rare were spot on. That puts it just a bit over for middle of the road in my opinion. Upon finish, I had stepped on something under the table which could have rolled from another table or was always there but didn't want to look. Maybe next time I'll take a look and see. If I could give 3.5 I would but it's fair to have a 3. I can't edge it to 4 without having one of my concerns adjusted. It wasn't a bad experience. Just wasn't outstanding. Customer service was though. It was nice to have dinner with friends though."

"Worst establishment I have ever been to in my whole life. I love cheddars and have never had an issue with them until I visited this location. We arrived at 5:00pm on a Saturday and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for a party of two. We were fine with that as we expected it to be maybe even longer since it was dinner time on a Saturday. We didn't end up getting seated until 6:00pm which is not the part I have the most issue with but if the wait is going to be that long, i would expect the establishment to let me know that upfront, not tell me 15-20 minutes. Anyway, we get seated and our server didn't attend to us until 20 minutes later of us sitting there. As soon as he attended to us, we just went ahead and ordered everything. Drinks took 30 minutes to get, appetizer took 40 minutes to get and the entrees came out almost an hour later. This service was the slowest I have ever experienced from the moment I stepped into the building. The host girl was very distracted and walking around the entire restaurant instead of helping people who were walking in. The host desk was unattended very often. This establishment is full of a bunch of children who don't care about their jobs. They would all walk around the restaurant together play fighting, cussing at each other and making videos on their phones together. The server we had was extremely slow and seemed like he didn't care about his job either. One of the big red flags was that the chef himself brought us our food, not the server or one of the other 30 children working there who were doing absolutely nothing. It was all so bad that we saw 2 other couples leave 25 minutes after being seated because the server STILL didn't go see them. Not to mention that the couple next to us literally left the establishment without paying and the server came to ask us about it and laughed about it. There were also two very large parties that were nearby us that were SO LOUD and had their grimy kids running around, they were all yelling, blowing whistles and making so much noise that was really making the whole experience worse as they were just allowed to do that and no employee ever checked in with them to have them quiet down. And let me also add that the entire restaurant was dirty. Everywhere you looked there were stains, slimy hand prints on the glass, trash all over the floors, tables being left dirty for 30+ minutes , etc. Please do yourself a favor and never come to this location, it's so ghetto and full of employees as well as patrons that are disgusting and have absolutely no manners . This was my first and last visit to this location. It needs to be shut down immediately !"
