"It wasn’t what I expected. *The atmosphere was pretty cookie cutter and rather unremarkable. *the food we ordered (chicken, grits, collard greens etc, were very run- of- the-mill, nothing notable and very small portions. I almost felt like the collard greens were that canned Margret’s brand but they weren’t flavorful enough to have been. (The grits were great) *the service was awe full unfortunately, Our server asked if we needed anything. My wife responded and we never saw the server again. Never. lol. But when we stood up and acted restless fkr long enough, she came from around the corner and grabbed my credit card from my hand without a word or acknowledgement. I always over tip. I also often call the manager to bring attention to someone who I feel is really doing well or going above and beyond. It is often. I didn’t even leave a tip. Doesn’t sit right but it was hard to justify paying extra for such an uncomfortable experience. I expected so much more fkr such great reviews. Quite underwhelming. Won’t be returning.
