"First time back in Detroit (home) in many years. This used to be the top shelf restaurant back in the 70s when my parents went out and dined. It hasn’t lost its vibe and reputation as one of the finest in the “D”! Food was fresh and excellent, Pete our waiter was phenomenal and the ambiance was top notch. Highly recommend this as a must eat if in downtown Detroit. After dinner they have a nice cigar bar to enjoy a smoke and some after dinner drinks."

"We love London Chop and make a point to visit a couple times each year. The band was great and our waiter was very knowledgeable, especially about wine. Our only complaint was the Cesar salad which our waiter promised us was indeed a Cesar salad but looked nothing and tasted nothing like a Cesar salad. Since when does Cesar salad have spinach (no romaine lettuce at all), radish, and bread crumbs….even the dressing was off. The salad was good, just not the Cesar salad we had been looking forward to."

"This was my first time here. My waitress was great. She pointed out some of her favorites for me to consider since I had never been. I ordered the smoked bacon deviled eggs and the bbq chicken pizza. The eggs were good. I prefer them a little sweeter and with less filling. They had a slight vinegar flavor. The greens and dressing served with them was good also. The bbq chicken pizza was very good. I love pizzas baked in wood burning ovens. It was thin crust, and the toppings paired well together. I recommend Harper's and plan to return."

"After exploring the sidewalk sale on Montana Ave in Santa Monica, we decided to take a break at Margo's to rest our feet in the warm and humid summer weather. Despite initially seeking relief from the heat inside, we found the restaurant to be uncomfortably hot. Opting to sit outside for some ocean breeze, we ordered a mushroom pizza and baby kale salad to share. Although service was a bit slow due to being understaffed, the food was delicious and arrived smelling fantastic. It was a self-service experience with a lack of glasses for water outside, but we made do. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 due to the service issues. The mushroom pizza was heavenly for mushroom lovers, and the baby kale salad was tasty with its crunchy faro. I would recommend both dishes. Just be mindful of the metered parking when visiting."

"Me and my friend went to Jatoba last Saturday evening. I was super excited to try this restaurant as I am from Toronto and visiting my old friend. I figured the reviews on google are good, its probably amazing. Well where do I begin? The shrimp, was undercooked and smelt weird. The waiter disappeared and basically did not return until the end of the meal. They sat us at the bar, where they were cooking the food, so from where we were sitting the view was terrible. We were disappointed so we told the manager about the situation and she offered us a free meal. However, the menu is ****, so we left and went to Makado. Good news was we did not have to pay for our meal."

"My family and I visited Inn Spot for Christmas in 2018. It was our first Christmas without my Mom, so I wanted to try something new for my Dad and three children. The dinner was amazing for all 5 of us (my husband couldn't join us due to a fever). I couldn't stop praising the food to my husband, and my Dad agreed that it was outstanding and well worth the 50-minute drive. However, when just the three of us returned for Christmas Day in 2019, we were disappointed for various reasons. The service was great and the location was beautiful, but my Dad found the goose to be not as good as the previous year, describing it as "grainy and dry." The stuffing in my turkey dinner had large chunks of bread and lacked flavor. Additionally, the waiter had incorrectly described a gingerbread chiffon dessert as actually being a piece of gingerbread, causing some confusion. Despite this, the ambiance was lovely, and we felt bad for hyping up the restaurant based on our perfect experience the year before. The portions were generous, the flavors were nice, and the prices were reasonable."

"Cant' say enough good about this place! From the time we entered till the moment we left the staff was incredibly attentive, informative, and just downright fun to be around. Very comprehensive with their masksocial distancing procedures. GREAT local IPA and Oysters Rockefeller. Big oysters. Ordered the Swordfish and the Grouper, both blackened. Superbly grilled with a "to die for" sauce on each. Grits, fries, and Collard greens as sides. All three are pretty hard to do really well. Was not disappointed. Honestly we ate every bite on our plates, which would be tough to do with the portion sizes. It was that good. The reviews on this place are really great and they are spot on. We don't live in Canton but if we did we'd be regulars"

"Beautiful restaurant great food. However service, or lack of it, absolutely ruined the evening. We were excited to try the food and end the evening with the famous banana foster. The server made no recommendations; never checked on us, and took forever to deliver food. We spent 2 hours there mostly waiting. Finally we realized that trying to get banana foster would result in probably 2 more hours so we decided to leave. So if you are hoping for a special evening I am not sure this place is a goo … – show"

"Went for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 8pm, was a 45 min 1 hour wait for the queue. Queuing system was a bit chaotic. Ordered a cheeseburger and bacon burger for two people. The atmosphere of the restaurant is small and comfy, full of nostalgia and little memoranda. The food is average for my taste, the beef in the burger was slightly under seasoned and I did not feel that the burgers were particularly special compared to the other places that I’ve tried in New York. Chips need to be ordered separately from the burgers and cost around $7 not worth the price, small portions and were soggy in my opinion. Seems that people come to this place for nostalgia of old school diner vibes. Is it worth the queue? For me, probably no."

"Despite the heat and humidity, the porch at Roger Sherman Inn evokes being in Barbados at a 5 star resort. The food continues to impress- every course, every special, every dessert is beautifully prepared and presented. We each have our favorites and are torn between trying new and enjoying familiar dishes. "My family of four dined at Fat Rabbit following How the Grinch Stole CHristmas at AT&T Performing Arts Center. I was happy to find a place close by, with a menu suitable for teens as well as adults and a fun drink menu. We were looking forward to a fun and festive holiday outing. Our table was set up and ready upon arrival and we were thankful given one teen had turned hangry. I ordered the Wild Hare to start and it was cold and sweet. I’m sad to say that our service was deplorable. Our waiter was apathetic, slow and not interested in offering a nice dining experience. We had to round up silverware from other set tables on our own, because out appetizer of fried cheese wedges was starting to chill and our waiter was nowhere to be found. The appetizer was good, even if we had no napkin with which to wipe our hands. At one point, out waiter had been missing in action for so long that we approached the hostess to ask her to find him. No drink refills and no meal order was taken for a good 25 minutes after dropping off the appetizer. Even knowing we were irritated, his pace did not pick up. My cheesy bacon grilled cheese was over-done and dry. My husbands pulled pork sandwich was such a mess he had to eat it with fork and knife. The kids did say their burgers were good. Basically, we spent $100 on grilled cheese and burgers with some of the worst service I can recall. It’s a shame, too, because the restaurant is cute and its in a great area. I will say, as we were headed out a neighboring table seemed to be enjoying much better service than we experienced."
