"Visiting for first time at 5PM on a H O T weekday in August. They have probably 10 parking spots available all were gone by 6 and indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas overlooking the parking lot . We had a 5:30 outdoor reservation and arrived early so sat at the bar and had some of their Happy Hour $5 small watermelon margaritas and $22 for a small pitcher of Blackberry Plum Sangria...served about 3.5 glasses...and the $5 snack which was 3 bites of grilled beef on sticks with roasted red pepper sauce . All was very tasty and well prepared, and they had a lot of staff around that were helpful and friendly. All COVID safe and being followed by everyone we saw. The interior is nicely decorated and rustic but also really dark, kind of like a basement or pub. So, we abandoned the glorious A/C for our outdoor table which was very nice and great while the breeze was blowing through....but when it died, was like eating in a sauna with all of us mopping sweat with our napkins darn you nature, not the restaurant 's fault! . Basket of bread/ butter upon seating one piece each . The cornmeal oysters were delicious, the old bay chips were underwhelming..........the menu in general $17 hamburger and fries plus $2 for bacon seems a little more standard fare and tilted toward casual and sandwiches than we were expecting. Sandwiches well prepared and nice portion with sides of tasty fries. Cookies for $3.50 and the Mocha was by far and away the best, like a moist gooey brownie cookie. Overall we had a nice dinner probably wouldn 't do outdoor again unless 80 degrees or under outside, could use a little more local or unique variety on the menu, but what they have, they prepare well."
