"My husband and I have visited here often over the last few years. In face he worked here back in the day. We have always had a really nice time, been able to have good conversation and enjoy the food. Tonight was like the twilight zone or something. It was so odd. We waited for probably 20 minutes after our server first came over to get our water. She completely disappeared for 20 minutes and when she came back she seemed very overwhelmed and was carrying a tray of bread. She apologized for the delay and the was kinda the theme of the evening… longggg waits for everything and then apologies. She seems in the weeds all night. I’m not sure if her section was too spread out or they were seating her too close together, or perhaps she is a newer server. But from what we observed she only had about 4 Or 5 active tables at any time. I’ve worked in the industry for 22 years so I recognize the little things going on. Believe me, I know rough nights happen. It was just a very awkward experience. We even had another server who had checked on us and we asked for a box and then we never saw her again. The vibe of the whole place seemed off. No manager presence. Usually I see them walking the floor. By the time we finally got our entrees it was about an hour and 20 minutes from sitting down. Our steaks were great. But we were super disappointed with the crab dip that we get every time we come. Our server had told us that she hadn’t brought the dip Out bc they were waiting on the tid bits. So it looked like it had sat under the heat lamps on the line for a good while. Again… we get it, bad experiences happen, maybe the kitchen was short staffed, maybe a server called out. I’m not sure but I even overheard 3 other tables near us talking about it. If this happened at my restaurant I would want to be made aware. Our server was very sweet and this is not to get anyone in trouble, only to share an experience."

"The Chebeague Inn is a charming old fashioned Inn right on the waterfront. The wait staff, several from South Africa, provided excellent, unrushed service. Three of us ordered the BLTavocado wrap with French fries. Our other companion had the chicken salad wrap. All were excellent. Our waiter seemed to notice how much we were enjoying the view from the porch and convinced us to order the yummy, warm chocolate chip cookies. It is not simple to get to the Inn, but if you take Casco Bay Lines you can arrange for the shuttle to meet the boat and take you to the Inn. The other ferry is more expensive complicated but will drop you off right at the Inn. On a beautiful day you can’t beat the Casco Bay Lines ferry lunch on the porch"

"I have been coming here for 6 years and always got good food and good service tonight it appears to have had a change in attitude and service I ordered broiled fish with no bread when it came I said it has bread she flippantly said I can take it off I answered just as flippantly if it was a dog poop would you say the same thing.... She went back to the kitchen and brought back some of the same food she said I replated it I should have not trusted her but I did now I am sick and will be for 3 to 5 days if you have a allergy or intolerant to anything do not go here they don't care about us. Dietary restrictions: Do not come here. If you have dietary restrictions they don't care"

"Every time I visit this restaurant, I've noticed a significant inconsistency in the way my meals are priced. Whenever the blonde staff is working, I end up being charged an extra $6 to $7 per meal. They don't seem to take substitutions into account; instead, they just add a hefty upcharge. For example, if I order a burger that normally comes with fries and want to replace the fries, I shouldn't expect a small fee of two or three dollars. Instead, I'm hit with a $6 upcharge."

"The wait staff of friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is very clean. The food was quick and the bar well stocked. We had the sweet potato chips appetizer which can easily feed 4 . The chips are paper thin and super crunchy. The accompanying garlic aioli dip was delicious! The feta and olive burger was salty (as expected), but would have gone better with a thicker burger patty. The fish sandwich (we chose whitefish) was fresh, lightly battered and came with coleslaw which dry on the top. Overall a good stop for a quick lunch in a small town so expect prices a bit higher."

"Since we had our baby with us, we chose to use the drive-thru, which was impressively quick and efficient. The cashier was wonderfully friendly, explaining everything without a hint of sarcasm or rudeness. She greeted us with a smile and was very polite, taking her time with our order without making us feel rushed. The only reason I'm giving Copper Moon Coffee a 4-star rating instead of a full 5 is because of the flavor. We have sampled coffee at countless restaurants and love trying new options, but the coffee here tasted somewhat watered down. I could taste the lavender in my drink, but overall, it lacked the bold flavor I was hoping for, which ended up being a bit disappointing. The ambiance of the restaurant and the excellent service were lovely, but they definitely need to enhance the flavor of their coffee!"
