"Reserved on OT for my birthday with family. On a Sunday , so I didn’t expect the place to be busy. Not only there wasn’t a single patron there, but there a guy mopping the floor, and some chairs already on tables. Ready to close. That means they preferred not having any patrons walk by at that time. So we walked away and ended up at Hanna’s in the same strip mall, which was amazing. So no food review, but this manager was unprofessional. Establishment need to provide the same experience to its patrons, from opening to closing. This place is known for its happy hour vibe I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner."

"Never even walked through the door of this place, but just got the vibe of terrible service from a guy. The man in the green shirt was taking a phone call outside and was blocking the doorway as we walked up to it. We were hoping to have a nice breakfast after a long tour, but he rudely corrected us away from the door (WHILE ON THE PHONE) and to a line outside of the restaurant. We are not familiar with the area, and we have never visited before, but the way he acted like we were supposed to automatically know where to go (with no signage outside the diner at all), just made us walk away and go down the street to another diner. Much better service at Nassau Diner, would definitely rather go there instead. Thank god for this awfully rude interaction!"

"This place has a lot of great reviews on Grubhub, so I had really high hopes that this would be my go-to breakfast place. I was beyond disappointed! The good: they have a digital way of placing an order. The bad: the estimated pick up times suck, and they don 't prepare the order the way you indicate in the order. The ugly: I watched the woman who readies the order for pick up touch: paperbags, a carton, several receipts, a stapler, her clothes, and the countertop ... all before putting her hands on a bagel (putting cream cheese on it and cutting it, and I 'm not talking fingertips). Bonus 1: I LOVE waiting 30 minutes to get over easy eggs, soggy toast, and canned corned beef hash without the crispy crust top- especially when I ordered over medium and specifically asked for the corned beef hash to be cooked well done so it 's crispy. but hey... to get over medium and the crispy top on corned beef hash, it 's supposed to take over 30 minutes, right? Bonus 2 conversation: Me: How much longer? Woman: 2 minutes Me: Ok, bc I 've watched several orders go out before mine. Man: Do you have a menu Woman 2: Grubhub JUST sent this to us. Me thinking to myself: yeah, 25 minutes ago. Me outloud: No. Grubhub is the reason I even knew about this place. If you can 't handle a Grubhub order that got me here, why would I come back? AND...What I 'm grossed out about is Woman 1 touching stuff. Man: but ma 'am, she 's not touching food. Me: YES, SHE IS. Man: no, she isn 't. Me: I WATCHED HER touch then touch a bagel. Man: *walks away* Woman 1: *goes back to readying bags* Is it all bad? no. Just know what to order: you can get bagels muffins quickly. As for me? NEVER AGAIN."

"We went here for a Mother’s Day lunch before heading to the beach. After waiting some time for food, I noticed the receipt and we were charged for an extra combo. I went to the cashier to fix it and she was supposed to take off the additional $6 plus tax and credit card fee. When I looked at the receipt it was for $5.50 not even the amount of the meal. When I brought it to the attention of the server he tried to get it fixed but it didn’t happen. When we got our food, there was a hair grilled into one of the burgers so we had to return it and wait for this meal. It just got later and everyone was already done except for this meal. I tried calling the restaurant later to fix the charge issue and when I pulled up the credit card to reference the charge I noticed the cashier did not reverse the charge but actually charged me. So now I paid twice for something I did not receive. I contacted the restaurant at least 4 times to get this resolved and was told the manager would call but never did and every time I called he was not there. I don’t give bad reviews because I know people have off days. But to ignore an issue like this is disappointing to say the least. The right thing to do would be to reverse the whole thing at this point. We paid over $84 for 2 combos and 2 single burgers and a juice."

"Really enjoy their food, but I am not impressed with their baked goods. All seemed to be dry and flavorless. I really wanted to like this place, so I have been as few times, but still get dry cupcakes and cake. As a gluten free baker, I know it's possible to make moist products. I think they make too many products when they should focus on the ones that sale really fast and taste exceptional. I will be back for their entrees just not their desserts."

"I actually love this place, or at least I did. I've noticed lately (maybe past 6 months or so) that the food is always overcooked. The bacon is burned, the eggs are tough, the bread is burned. I usually come on Saturdays or Sundays. I'm hoping that someone from Bagels Brew will read this and remedy this. The bagels are always amazing and the cream cheese mixtures are very tasty. Hoping to love this place again!"

"I had a very disappointing experience with Bagels and Brew. Our company regularly orders food from there, but during my last order, I found a bug in my salad. I couldn’t identify it, but it made me feel quite ill afterward. When I called to speak with the manager and share my concerns, I was put in touch with the catering managers. Unfortunately, the connection was poor, and the conversation wasn't very productive. The catering managers responded quite rudely and did not apologize for the issue with the food. Their attitude suggested that they saw my complaint as just an attempt to get a free meal, as if I would take the time to call for a $10 meal or bagel. It’s important for restaurants to respect their regular customers and take their feedback seriously. When someone takes the time to report an issue, it should be seen as an opportunity for improvement. I assure you, I wouldn't have made a ten-minute call just for a free $10 meal. Please show more respect for your customers."

"Heuvos Rancheros from Ted?s Place On the inside: a classic LA diner with booth seating and large, bright dining interiors. The building sits a bit farther off Sepulveda so traffic isn?t heard much from inside. I noticed a staff, using a slight positive racial profiling, determined there was a high probability of them making a solid Heuvos Rancheros The depth of flavor from the salsa and the strong tortilla made this a go to dish. Meals include hash browns or home fries and toast. The home fries were cooked near perfect with a quick strong outer grill creating a nice crunch and a medium cook on the inside. I suggest dipping the buttered toast in the rancheros along with the hash browns. When asked, the cashier preferred the hash browns over the home fries. Nice and accurate service. A well maintained establishment."

"Drove into Saratoga from way out of the area and were hoping for a lovely lunch. Unfortunately, what we got was mediocre. First off, parking is difficult to find. Second, there are at least 6 steps going into the front door and I was bringing an elderly woman with limited mobility and a walker. The staff watched as we basically carried this woman into the restaurant and didn 't even help hold open the front door. We were surprised by the lack of diners for a weekday afternoon; only two tables were occupied. While the menu was extensive, but the food was not all that good or even presented well. The gentleman in our group ordered the breakfast burrito with potatoes which he described as just OK...nothing special or great flavors. Just something to eat after such a long drive. Us ladies both had the same thing...soup and sandwich. The clam chowder was actually pretty good. Nice creamy broth. The ham cheese panninis were lousy. No other way to describe them. Packaged ham slices shoved in between two slices of bread along with a slice of ? cheese and barely warmed... the cheese wasn 't melted, but since it was barely noticeable I guess it didn 't make much of a difference. Service was OK. Passable, but the staff didn 't seem all that interested in the diners. I guess that part that left me shaking my head was at the end. We maneuvered our elderly guest through the other dining tables back toward the front entrance when a staff member said You can use the ramp off the patio if its easier. What the ????? They stood there when we entered and never bothered to tell us we could use the ramp that looks like it belongs to the establishment next door. Food=C Service=C Caring for their guests=F Sorry, can 't recommend this place to anyone, particularly the disabled."

"We Love Old River Grill. I love the food and the people. I have a few favorite dishes. The 50/50 burger is amazing. The Chili Verde Omelet is outstanding. I haven't had anything on the menu that I don't like, but I have to say that the Cajun Shrimp, and the Cajun Lobster Omelet are my personal favorite. I also appreciate that Roger (the owner) cares about giving the best service to our community. Thank you for all that you do to serve! Oh, I almost forgot to mention the fresh baked cinnamon rolls. "Y Not Burger is a beloved fixture in the South Bay, offering classic burger fare that has become a staple for the community. My personal favorite is the bacon cheeseburger, though the pastrami sandwich is also incredibly tasty. And let’s not forget the grilled cheese—it's simply irresistible! I can't help but feel hungry just thinking about it! For vegetarians, they offer a really delicious vegetable burger, too. Their thick-cut french fries are always perfectly cooked and seasoned, but I have to say, the onion rings are my absolute favorite. Parking is free and readily available, which is a plus. My only minor complaint would be that the prices are a bit high, but given the quality of the food, it's worth it; after all, good ingredients come at a premium. Overall, if you’re in the area, you’ll find something to satisfy everyone’s cravings."

"The food was decent, but nothing remarkable. I ordered the country breakfast, and the biscuits and gravy were just okay—I would have preferred more sausage in the gravy, as there wasn't any. "I got the Curly Fries Double and the Tater Tots Single and the fries were just ok. If it was a blind taste test between Jack in the Box and these fries I could not tell the difference, but fries are fries I guess. The tater tots were good but still tasted like fast food. I would like to try other food from this restaurant. I was super hungry and didn't have a lot of time to eat so these did the job."

"This is my go-to spot for breakfast. I typically stick to scrambled eggs and bacon, and I prefer not to have salsa with it. I do wish they still had the chorizo and egg option, but the vegetarian choices are also good. The scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage with bread are all delicious.
