"I was really looking forward to dining here, so much so that I waited in the parking lot until they opened. The restaurant itself is beautiful and located in a lovely part of the city. The staff were all very nice and incredibly friendly. I decided to try the vegan French toast, and when it arrived at my table, I was impressed by how it looked. However, I soon realized that the French toast was actually roasted with cinnamon and topped with fresh fruit, which I hadn’t expected. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped and wouldn't recommend it."

"We celebrated my son 's birthday at Star 's restaurant today. The staff was friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. The restaurant has a relaxing ambiance. I am an extremely picky eater but was impressed by the food quality. I ordered the Star 's chicken wrap and it was delicious! My husband ordered the Joe 's skillet and he was a happy camper. My daughter ordered chicken fettuccine pasta that came with a side salad-portions are huge! My two boys each had an Oreo milkshake with chicken strips and fries/fruits. Our waitress was a sweetheart, she came out with some of the cooks and sang happy birthday to my son. She also surprised him with a Neapolitan ice cream sundae. We are so happy and grateful to Star 's restaurant staff for making my son 's birthday dinner extra special. Thank you see you soon! "We decided to try the Brooklyn pizza and the spinach artichoke dip, and both were absolutely fantastic! The spinach and artichoke dip was hands down the best I've ever had, and the pizza was also very well made. The crust was thick, but still managed to hold everything together while being crispy yet soft. The staff was incredibly friendly and down to earth, making for a great dining experience. The ambiance was also very nice, with a sports bar vibe complete with plenty of TVs and sports memorabilia. I would definitely recommend dining here."

"I have been to Gettusburg more times than I can count being a resident of Central Pennsylvania but today was the first time ever eating at this establishment after my girlfriend looked up eating establisments prior to the visit. I will say that we were not disappointed with the food. If you 're a fan of soft pretzels and crab dip then order the crab dip soft pretzel. It is a massive, 12 inch (or bigger) soft pretzel covered with a delicious, hot, gooey, cheesy crab dip. It is essentially an appetizer but due to the size, two people could literally make a meal out of it. The fried pickle chips were the best I have found so far. Thin, crispy, not too greasy that have a hint of zing to them. They come with two dips, ranch and a Cajun dip which has a kick for sure. The burger ordered was the John Buford. Huge is an understatement that was accompanied by sweet potato waffle fries. While the burger was good, unless you 're a true fan of blue cheese, order a different burger. The blue cheese, which we love blue cheese dressing, has plain blue cheese crumbles mixed in with the mayo and the blue cheese was too overwhelming for our taste. So, for an avid blue cheese lover, this would be a great pick. Lastly my dish, the Blue and Grey wings. Choices of six or a dozen with several levels of heat to choose from. I attempted to order the hottest being the Gettysburg Ghost but the server was honest and advised they do not seem as hot and the flavor has been off. Instead she suggested the Devils Den level. Damm!! The start with a mild zing and suddenly the heat kicks in. I only had four due to having the aforementioned pretzel and pickle chips. Had I not eaten some of the appetizers I probably would have had six or more but my fingers, mouth and lips were ON FIRE!! Definitely some of the best wings I have ever had both taste and heat. The establishment is busy and there is a wait. We sat outside for about 25 to 30 minutes before they called our phone to get us seated but so worth the wait. The service is fast, servers friendly and for the amount of food the cost was less than I expected. We will definitely eat here again in the future."

"Wasn't busy, plenty of staff. Got seated next to bathroom in the back, although other tables were open, in the corner next to the virgin mary and a plant.Waited over 10 minutes for someone to recognize we hadn't been helped yet. Someone came over and asked if we had been helped yet, we said no, he walked away. Waited another 5 minutes and then a woman came near us gestured to our table and asked another girl is this table 10 They walked away.. Finally a lady came to table our order. Food was decent no complains. The basil mango margharita was yummy. We sat and no one came over. Had to flag someone down to get our check and left. Wish the service was better for a vegan restaurant."

"Black people don 't go there!!! I was treated horribly by the staff and was called angry for calmly asking for a refund when my order was made incorrectly. The staff never apologized and I didn 't receive a refund either. The staff claimed they don 't giverefunds although there is no sign posted. I didn 't feel welcomed there. I feel like I was treated like that because I am black.I will never patronize this establishment again in life!"

"Outstanding breakfast! The Chicken Fried Steak was huge and the gravy was bomb. I dipped everything in it. The fact they have grits on the menu was a win for me. For quality check purposes only, I had to try the family’s meals too. Everything was amazing as well. Love the classic Coke merchandise on the walls. It was cool to see the standup arcades in the back as well. Bring quarters. The service was excellent. No pressure, friendly, and crazy fast. I was shocked how quick it came out. Didn’t even finish my first cup of coffee. Fast and hot. No heat lamp needed. Make sure you blow on those homemade home-fries before wolfing it down. I will be coming back for sure. Pay no attention to the strip-mall location. This place is a hidden gem. Don’t walk, run to Little Dipper Diner."

"Their food is consistently excellent. The California Chicken Ranch Sandwich is amazing— the crispy chicken is tender, and it has just the right amount of lettuce and shaved onion! Add a pickle, and it's stellar. The tater tots are perfectly crispy. The California Chicken Ranch Wrap is just as delicious. The onion rings are always a hit. The Nachos Grande are tasty, though I wish they offered a queso sauce to go with them, but they're still good. The crab cakes have plenty of crab and aren't overwhelmed by the binder; they're small but flavorful. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu."

"The burger is tasty, but I don’t visit Jake’s very often because on my last two visits, and now this one makes it three, the bacon I ordered was missing from my burger. "I was very disappointed with The Bistro at Le Chocolat du Bouchard. The appetizers were ok, but my dinner was so poor that I wasn't able to eat it. Our waitress at first was overly attentive (even bothersome), but then when we wanted to order dessert, we couldn't find her. We were desperately trying to get the attention of other wait staff, but they were all in the back chatting. We waited so long for our waitress to come back to our table that we decided not to order dessert. My friend was thinking about ordering a gift certificate, but because the experience/food was so bad, decided not to pursue I love to eat out (and frequently do),but I will never go back to this restaurant because of the experience. Neither will my friend."

"I've only been working in the district for a few months, but I've really come to enjoy the food and the warmth that Rick and Liz extend to me each time I place an order. They've gone out of their way to accommodate my gluten intolerance, always informing me of the available options when I order. I especially appreciated the gluten-free lasagna during the holiday lunch—it was delicious, and it felt great to enjoy Italian food like everyone else. "I own a business in the same facility and wanted to come eat dinner with my husband. The purple toad was busy and so we were escorted over to the L shaped seating area where me and my husband waited for our food server. She was prompt and got us our drinks immediately. Then it took her a long time to come back to us and said oh did you wanna order food when we had menus sitting in front of us for roughly about 20 minutes. We placed our orders and our server I believe had extremely too many tables for her to service us appropriately . I do not remember her name. Then after we placed our food order, she came back and filled my husband‘s drink order again. We waited for that and still no food, she dropped off my husband’s drink and then it took another 10 minutes before I asked her. Where is our food ? The woman said let me go check then in five minutes she came back with our food. I ordered the sampler appetizer and my husband ordered the American cheeseburger. Came out cold and my sampler pattern had plastic sitting on the loaded potatoes. So I got up and I walked my food around to the window and there was a food server there and older woman with a ponytail and it was loud music is playing people are talking and I said my food server brought this food to me. It’s cold and it has plastic on it. Melissa came around the corner and raised her voice at me and said I was yelling at her food server and I was not, and she’s the general manager of the property or the business I guess. She was very rude. She told me that she’ll remove the stuff from my tickets and respectfully asked me to leave , while my husband is sitting down eating.. I was quietly waiting for my husband to finish his Food. Melissa reapproached me and said I need you to leave this facility or I will call the police after I was explaining my food was cold and my husband was sitting there eating and waiting for him to finish . There was no other altercation. There was no other words. There was nothing said to the general manager. Melissa runs this business very poorly and does not handle things appropriately. I’m sorry my client told me to come back to this facility after I knew it was bad and now this is my experience that I have coming back When I was told the food service and the people were great wow I beg to differ on this anyway. I’m sad was hoping. I moved out here in 2018 when it was great me and my husband loved the purple toad. It is not the same anymore so sad.."
