"I asked my server for assistance and expressed my concern that they might have mistakenly given me the wrong drink, potentially one that contained alcohol. She went to check with the kitchen, and they assured her that it was alcohol-free, but then they mysteriously ran out of the Morning Mediation. Given that I am on medication that interacts with alcohol, was dining alone, and simply do not like alcohol, this was quite concerning for me.
Regardless, my server was delightful, the atmosphere was pleasant, so I decided to continue with my meal. When my food arrived, I discovered that my pancake was undercooked. I typically dislike sending food back, but my server noticed my expression and asked what was wrong. After I showed her the pancake, she promptly apologized and offered to bring me a new one, so I settled in with my book while I waited.
Eventually, she returned with a perfectly cooked pancake, but they didn’t offer to replace the cold, dry bacon that remained on my plate until I asked. Overall, I would likely eat at First Watch again, as I have had great experiences in the past, just not at this particular location. After finishing my meal, I paid my bill and tipped my server. The employees were fantastic and welcoming; I just have some concerns about the kitchen’s performance."
