"The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food was really good and not too expensive for a resort. My husband got the fish chips which he appreciated and I got the smothered chicken which I really enjoyed (chicken covered in parmesan sauce, how could you go wrong?!? : . The food came out fast and the server was quick with our Diet Coke refills, which is always appreciated!! If you like trains, you’ll find the decor interesting (old water tower, parts of the engine etc . I would definitely go back there if I’m ever in the neighborhood!"

"I dined in for dinner and had an enjoyable experience overall. The price per person was between $30 and $50, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of the meal. The food was excellent, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The service was also commendable, matching the same 4-star rating. As for the atmosphere, it was inviting and pleasant, deserving another 4-star review. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend this restaurant."

"Food was good, but pretty pricey for what you get Drinks didn’t come until we were about done with food I went online to check in for a table and never heard back I ended up sharing a table with someone I met at the airport just to get in and get something to eat He had a change in terminals and paid the tab, but the waitress came and freaked out that he left and said nothing had been paid I told her he had just did it on the app cause that’s what we were told we needed to pay and she said nothing was paid, she went back and checked and said part of it was paid but the other part was not So I asked her again, since the first time she tried making me pay the whole tab, and she said you can get up and look at my computer I had to also catch a flight and said F” it and paid another $40 We never tried to pull one over on her and to be treated as such and screwed out of money was ridiculous"

"I evaluate businesses to assess how effective their management is and how it affects their employees. This restaurant is a prime example of excellent management. The service was outstanding at every level. When my favorite appetizer was out of stock, the manager kindly informed me and offered a complimentary alternative. The steak was remarkable, and my server was superb. He noticed my military ID and proactively adjusted my bill without me needing to ask. This restaurant would be an exemplary training ground for managers, as everyone I interacted with was exceptional and deserving of high praise. Overall, it was a truly fantastic experience."

"Neir’s has been on my list for many years. We mainly wanted to go for its historical status and because it was used in filming Goodfellas. So now I’ve been and I think once was enough. It really deserves its landmark status and I’m glad it was saved years ago from closing. But, the food was average and the service a bit lacking. Forgive me for expecting my appetizers to come to my table before my entree. But much to my dismay,our entrees came first with the apps following about 8 minutes later. When I asked our server what happened the response was that she put in the order all at once. The next excuse was a mix up in the kitchen. And the last excuse was miscommunication. But between whom. The kitchen and wait staff must surely know their menu and understand the order of starter versus entree. Might be a small issue to some but it is part of service that is expected. I’m sure it is a neighborhood gem for the regulars and I’m glad for those who enjoy it. But for me, between the disappointing service and the mediocre food, once was enough."

"When we arrived at Whiskey Island, Kim from the Gale informed us, “We don’t deal with OpenTable.” So why did we end up purchasing four tickets for the event ($20.00) when they were not responsible for hosting it? Additionally, we were not told that we needed to pay for parking at Whiskey Island. I feel deceived and have requested a refund for the $20.00 that was charged on their website. Thank you for your attention to this email."
