"Waited 40 minutes for a cold, soggy sandwich (that can’t be eaten because its falling apart), bottom of the bag stale tasting chips, and a watered down iced latte. They also must have been so rushed they decided not to put all of the lettuce on mysandwich, but instead threw it on top? Do not order to-go from here unless you want to be disappointed. I gave 2 stars becausethe manager made it right by refunding us and anytime we dine in the service/food is good. Unfortunately I have not had manypositive experiences here with to-go orders, this isn't the first time I had to speak up. so…beware when ordering to-go. Itseems to be an issue with whatever system they have in place for running the orders out at appropriate times because theres noother explanation for soggy/cold food."

"As a Chicano, I can confidently say this place has the best menudo I've ever had at a restaurant. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the broth had just the right flavor. I did have to ask for cilantro and oregano, but they brought it to me right away. The corn tortillas were definitely fresh. I topped off my big bowl with a barbacoa taco. It's always a good sign when there's a line of people waiting to get in, especially when most of them are elderly! I will definitely return to this cafe every time I'm in town. I loved the cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe. Don't miss this gem if you're nearby!"

"breakfast tomorrow. the name and the sign killed me so I had to go in. I have cut an early piece with fresh eggs on the farm, ingenious speck, acidic teig with strawberry jam and a kartoffel in four, with what I think was rosmarin on them. it was a great meal and well packed in a unique small container. I also have a cup and a lemon blueberry. the skorone for me was more like Irish sodabrot. that felt it. it was really good. this is an eccentric hipster coffee shop and restaurant. I think outside the box and enjoy this kind of place. I'd get a visit back if they were in nashville."

"Visiting town. Came here on a recommendation. I really wanted to like this place! From the moment we arrived though, it was not good. Hostess stand was outside but unmanned so we followed signs inside to see a hostess inside. No one there either, and all their employees ignored us as we stood there looking for help to get a table. After a couple minutes, we look outside and see the hostess is now outside and a whole line had formed, so we were put in the back of the line even though we had arrived before but had trouble finding their hostess. She didn’t care. Then, look at the 2 top they sat 3 of us at. In a dingy corner next to a bussing station. We could hardly fit our plates, silverware, drinks on this table. It made it difficult to enjoy our first time here. I found this tactic absolutely rude and I knew then I would leave a review. They did it to another party of 5 plus a baby and made them squeeze into a 4 top table. Just rude!!! The food was mediocre at best. They rush you, their staff comes across disingenuous, and they got our very basic order all wrong. I’d never return nor suggest this place to anyone. It was nothing special and the treatment alone is enough to say “pass”."

"First off, I would imaging it would have been a lot noisier if not for... Covid. Anyway the food was really great, we had awesome service. Our mixed drinks were fabulous. Staff was super helpful as we had just moved to the area and gave us great recommendations on things to try. Would definitely go back here again."

"Only come here if you like being blown off. I've gone here several times late at night. Their tea and crepes are very good. However, it depends on which employee you get. The last two times I've gone and will never come back after dealing with a girl who works there on the late night shift. She's horrible. I once tried and order over the phone and she cut me off, and I could literally hear her put the phone down and talking and laughing with people for minutes. Do you know how ridiculously long of a wait minutes is? I once called for a crepe on a different night an HOUR before closing and she said she can't make them that late, when I had made orders at that time before with a different employee. Sounds to me like someone was in a hurry to close early. The only reason I bothered with this place is because this place is right by my house. Apparently the management only hires the laziest employees possible. If you want real service, I'd recommend Salt Lake Roasting Co or Beans and Brews."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant and didn't want it to become too crowded. My wife and I enjoyed dinner here before heading to an event at Fremont Abbey Arts Center. The specialty is tacos, with an extensive and reasonably priced menu. Happy Hour runs from 3 to 5. The service model is similar to many post-COVID restaurants, where staffing is a challenge. You order and pay at the counter, then your food is brought to your table. This efficient system saves time. We'll definitely be back when we're in Fremont again."

"Today was the perfect day for a scenic drive, delicious pizza, and a good book by the lakeside at Waverly Park. I ordered a large Three Meat pizza just as I reached Albany, and it was ready when I arrived. A friendly young woman handed it to me straight out of the warming oven. I also asked for napkins and some Parmesan cheese (which costs 50 cents extra). I found a cozy concrete picnic table in the shade overlooking the beautiful lake and opened the box. There’s nothing quite like the aroma of a hot, fresh pizza to get your mouth watering! The toppings of pepperoni, sausage, and bacon were well-proportioned—not too sparse, but not overloaded either. The cheese was generously applied, though it didn’t quite reach the edge of the crust. The sauce had a pleasantly sweet taste without being overpowering, and the crust was chewy with a buttery texture. The crust alone makes their pizza stand out from the typical offerings you find at major chains like Little Caesars or Domino's. If we had a Pizza Now in Salem, I honestly can’t think of any reason to ever visit those other places again!"

"This was my first visit and i admit, I am no adventurer when it comes to trying new food, so i I was apprehensive and almost hesitant. Everyone there was kind and very welcoming as soon as i approached the area.I tried both the Elk dog and Cash taco. Both were excellent! The Elk was seasoned perfectly and had an amazing blend of meat and cheese. The Cash taco was delicious! I especially loved how they took the time to slice the jalapeño in a way where the seeds were removed. That is love in your meal! Presentation was also shown to be done with such care. You can see the team definitely prides themselves in their culinary skills, presentation and service. That's a whole love language !"
