"Unfortunately, the entrees did not live up to the same standard. Each dish came with a salad topped with ginger dressing. While the dressing was tasty, the bottom of the salad bowl was filled with water, which diluted the dressing by the time we reached the end of the bowl.
For my main course, I ordered the Vietnamese grilled pork, which sounded promising. However, it consisted of three slices of pork that appeared sautéed rather than grilled. It was served on a bed of noodles, bean sprouts, and mixed greens. The bean sprouts and noodles had an overpowering anise flavor, and the noodles were clumped together, making them unappealing. While the pork was flavorful, it was served cold. The accompanying dipping sauce was enjoyable, though.
My dining companion chose the chicken with peanut sauce. He finished his meal but remarked that it tasted slightly "off." Despite hearing positive reviews about this restaurant, I can't say our experience with the food was satisfactory."
