"Our first visit did not disappoint. We loved the ambiance and the people watching on the street. So good to see a lively downtown scene. The food was all spot on and our server, Joel, did a great job of walking us through courses and making suggestions. At least 3 different servers filled my water glass--which I greatly appreciated. With a partial view of the kitchen, I could see Chef Salazar was constantly at a work station; he is most definitely hands on--to the point of doing his own wiping off the work service. Probably/maybe common practice, but I was impressed. As to our courses: We shared warm olives, bread, guacamole/tostones, and mixed salad. I had the beef and my husband, the scallops. Back to sharing for tres leches cake. It was the perfect amount of food for our appetites. We also each had two beverages. Can't wait for second visit and an opportunity to try more of the courses."
