"The staff was SO friendly that in a city full of friendly people they still stood out.We did the breakfast buffet for $16/person and it was totally worth it. All the staples of a good buffet and it was cooked well! The bacon and sausage particularly stood out to me.I also ordered a pineapple juice that I think was mixed with Sprite or something because it was a little fizzy and very sweet. But on a morning when it was 90+ degrees outside it was much needed.I'd definitely recommend!"

"Captain Steve’s is the place for us, The entryway was clean and so was the restaurant, This is our fifth visit, and we are still pleasantly pleased by the appearance and atmosphere I was in the mood for some fried jumbo shrimp with salt pepper seasoned fried fish yesterday, and Captain Steve’s delivered as always. We were greeted by a manager to be seated, Lauren was our server, She kept a smile on her face, and she was on point very patient she never gave us a chance to ask for anything #lovethat) our cups didn’t have a chance to get empty lol. "This is a cute little restaurant restaurant. Hadn't been in a long time and my friend wanted seafood. For my money, I'll go to Red Lobster. Prices are comparable, I had my favorite, pop corn shrimp, and while it was good, again, I like Red Lobster better. Plus with most Red Lobster meals you get a free salad, this gave you two sides, and if you want one of your sides to be a salad it's an extra $2 75. But I'm a very picky eater, so any restaurants can I like are very good, just not"

"During our last visit, we accidentally ordered the “Loch” catfish instead of the regular variety. When the dish arrived, I was surprised to see a whole catfish served on my plate. I promptly informed our waitress of the mix-up, and she assured me that she would speak to the manager. Within a few minutes, she returned to let me know they would replace the order without any hassle. I must admit, I’ve had less-than-ideal experiences at other restaurants when pointing out order mistakes, often encountering unhelpful or unfriendly staff. But here, it was refreshing to enjoy my meal even after the initial error was mine, and it was corrected so swiftly and graciously. No complaints at all!"

"I ordered a combination of fried shrimp and oysters. When the order arrived, there were 4 small oysters on a pile of shrimp. The shrimp was okay, the oysters tasted like they had sit on the dock all day, weren’t even remotely close to be considered fresh. The iced tea had a weird taste as well. Disappointing that for an $18 plate, the 2 hush puppies were the star. I have eaten at most of the Mayflower locations throughout many years, and consider this one to be the absolute worst. My wife and I spent $60 for a $20 meal. A gas station hotdog and bag of chips would have been more satisfying. Not sure if they were having a bad night as there were other guests complaining as we were eating. Hopefully the manager will read this review and make adjustments that resolve whatever issues that we encountered."

"Wanted to try this place last year but Covid got in the way. This time was better. We were seated in a far corner which was nice and quiet. Our drinks came while we checked the menu and my friend ordered the broiled salmon and I had the fried clams with fries. My friend had the house salad and it looked fresh from my place and he said it was. Our main dishes came in a short time and mine was heaped with clams even for the small order. My friends plate had a very large portion of salmon and broiled vegetables. I like fried clams and these were no exception with nice breading. I could only eat a few of the fries becuase there were so many clams. We finished without room for desert although the pecan pie was calling to me. service was good and it is a surprisingly good fish place for the middle of North Carolina. I would go again."

My original review still stands—Keith’s is a must for anyone seeking local and fresh food. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the selection and prices are fantastic. Don't just think about going; head straight to Keith's! This has become our go-to spot whenever we travel through the Slidell area. Her overloaded po-boys are absolutely amazing, as are the wings and the seafood platter. And don't forget to try the spicy garlic butter sauce—it's simply delightful!"

"I've enjoyed Capttain Steve's food for 7 years. It has remained exceptional, but I may not return after my last visit. The problem is their ude policy, instituted during COVID, of making customers wait OUTSIDE. Yes, there is limited wait seating inside and the manager stated it works better “For us”. It may work fine “For them”. But, will it continue when the weather is undesirable? I'll not return and know of many other restaurants that treat their customers as wanted guests. ,"

"Pacific Bay in Stuart is not worth your time. The service is extremely poor and disorganized. We had to wait for the hostess to clear a table for four, even though there were five empty, clean tables available. Then we waited 15 minutes for a server, and when the food finally arrived, it was delivered by a kitchen worker who had to search from table to table to find where everything belonged, and even then, not all of our order was on the tray. The restaurant has been open at this location for about a month, and on a Saturday evening at 6 o'clock, it was less than half-full. When staff finally cleared dirty dishes from a table, they didn’t even bother to wipe it down. There was no manager in sight to ensure everything was running smoothly or that customers were being attended to. As for the food, it was only mediocre at best. We were looking forward to dining here, but we were very disappointed and will not return or recommend it to anyone."

"From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by warm smiles and friendly faces. The menu offers fantastic value for the outstanding quality of food. My usual picks are the whole catfish or the jumbo shrimp. Having been born in Maryland, I'm quite discerning when it comes to crab cakes, but I decided to give them a try since I've always enjoyed everything else here. The crab cakes were large, with a wonderfully crispy exterior and a moist, flavorful interior packed with crab. The jumbo shrimp were excellent as always, and the catfish fillets were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned with salt and pepper. If you find yourself in the area, don't hesitate to stop by for delicious food and cheerful service!"
