"This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and while it could have been a one-time issue, I’m not inclined to take the risk again. I ordered the War Shu Duck, but I barely found any duck in the dish. What I did find were small bits that might have been duck, but they were primarily attached to pieces of what seemed like bone or cartilage. Crunching on these was quite unpleasant due to the texture and the uncertainty of what I was eating. Overall, not a great experience. Service: Delivery, Meal type: Dinner, Food rating: 1 out of 5."

"Looks like an ex employee has a very bad case with the owner. Therefore, the extremely low star rating. I've been coming here with my family and friends for 7 years, and only once the food was not of good quality. The day they were reopened, the food was still really good. I actually use their dishes as standard to compare other outs. Golden Stars is always prepared *I think more traditional and tastes better than most others in the area."

"Terrible service! My group of four was the only customers in the restaurant at 5:30 PM, yet we had to wait over 20 minutes to be served. As other people came in and were seated, several of them left after waiting for service. While the restaurant was doing a decent takeout business, they completely neglected the customers inside—about 15 of us. I made the mistake of ordering ice cream at the end of our meal, and it took an astonishing 25 minutes to receive it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!"

"I ordered from here online it states 11$ for a bento box and after arriving to pick up my order they had charged me 15$. When calling the woman verbally attacked me telling me I looked at the wrong site for the price and should have looked at where you eat. Because the site I seen the price on is a fake site. Lol. The nerve to talk to me as if I am stupid. I didn't know the name of the restaurant was where you eat. The salad was wilted, I recieved less then a half of piece of chicken in one meal and 4 shrimp in another meal. As I am explaining the woman decided to tell me just because it is a Chinese restaurant does mean you get a deal and I could have made pasta for 99 cents at home. Complete rip off. The miso soup looks like dish water with seaweed in it. 50$ worth of food was equivalent to a 6$ children's item in a restaurant."

"I came in on a cold early morning in January afternoon. The menu had plenty of items to choose from. I selected the hibachi shrimp. After I placed my order, I patiently waited in the store's small waiting area. As the minutes passed, I became colder and colder. After ten minutes, I found myself pacing up and down the waiting area to stay warm. I soon when to the counter and asked the cashier how come there was no heat in the waiting area. The cashier said the plexiglass screen that was up to help protect from covid and robberies was blocking the heat from reaching the waiting area. Come on now! That makes no sense in the dead of winter.I suggest calling it in or dressing in layers. The food was good, but this cold take-out restaurant could have been a better experience."

"My daughter started dance in this shopping center, so we figured we would give this place a try. So glad we did! We were pretty turned off to all other Chinese food in the area, so our expectations were low. This place turned out to be AMAZING! Delicious, tender white meat chicken with broccoli, excellent boneless ribs, fried rice and steamed dumplings. We loved everything! Will definitely be returning as this is our new go-to for Chinese food. Thanks for the great experience!"

"I never wrote a review but this place was great! Definitely a 5 star at least!! I ordered for the first time today..the food was excellent..fresh and tasty! It was also still hot when it got here. Packed perfectly ..no spills! Portions were good I think it's reasonably priced.. The delivery driver was very polite! Since COVID started I've been ordering out more than usual...most that have delivered were rude..not even a thank you! So it was nice to have this positive experience!! I'll definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you."

"I ordered the shrimp rolls which were a nice size, nicely stuffed and very tasty. I also ordered the mixed vegetables with shrimp and brown rice. Unfortunately I didn't care for the brown rice but the mixed vegetables were very tasty and cooked to perfection. I definitely plan on ordering from here again. "I really enjoy a variety of dishes from a typical Chinese menu. Since most items come with white rice, I always order from this restaurant because they serve my favorite white rice. "First time going here and the staff was very friendly. The sushi I ordered was fresh and very good. It was hard to pick though because the menu has a lot of options that sounded good. "I walked in and checked out the menu. The woman at the counter was friendly while I placed my order for chicken wings and French fries. When my food arrived, she was polite and laid-back. The wings and fries were delicious and not greasy at all. The service was outstanding. They also offer seafood, which appears to be reasonably priced compared to other seafood restaurants. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. My first experience was quite good!"
