"I made reservations for 8 and got there early and they were able to seat us. I had been there once before as I live out of town and Rocky came to our table and seemed to remember me. He made us feel so special by serving the wine and suggesting entrees which were amazing. The Tuna appetizer was spectacular. Both pasta dishes were prepared perfect. All of the staff went out of their way to make our dining experience so memorable. It will be my go-to while in NYC! Thank you to all"

"We didn’t enjoy eating here for our anniversary. We have celebrated at Agate in the past but this time, the staff were seemingly stretched thin and we felt like we were an inconvenience more than anything. We agreed to sit at the bar because the table we reserved wasn’t open yet. I wish we had just waited for the table. Our server was kind but not attentive. Everything took too long. There was a leak from the ceiling right next to me and it was dripping/splashing me and my purse.
