"I tried the Pigskin Burger and the Iditarod Burger at Rookies. The Pigskin Burger featured bacon, American cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It had two crispy bacon strips, a juicy thick slice of tomato, and a perfectly charred medium-rare patty. Absolutely delicious. The bun was thick and complemented the burger wonderfully. The fries were cooked just right and seasoned perfectly. It’s surprising how often burgers and fries can be disappointing, and I have many horror stories, but Rookies definitely isn’t one of them. They nailed it with my burger, and I’ll definitely be back. A fun bonus was watching a Blue Jay swoop in to snatch some stray fries from the ground. The only downside was a fee charged for using a card to pay, which I find ridiculous in this day and age when most people carry less cash. Customers shouldn’t have to pay extra to use a card."
