"I am a fan of Noona's. I've been twice now and enjoyed the food both times. The concept is Italian (pizzas and pasta with sides , and it's named Noona's because that is the Korean word for older sister (owner Phil Han also of Dooby's and Sugarvale nearby paying tribute to his older sister Christina . Here's what I've tried: I've had and loved the SMASHED SUNCHOKES (crispy fried sunchokes with herbed yogurt, harissa honey mustard, toasted black cumin seeds, and lemon wedges over a bed of kale . Despite the fact that I don't feel like the bed of kale is incorporated into the dish (not even dressed or massaged totally raw and plain and I kind of wish it wasn't there, I love everything else about this dish! The KALE CAESAR is also really good (dinosaur kale, Caesar dressing, herbed brioche bread crumbs, and freshly grated Parmesan it's simple and just good. The GNOCCHI POMMODIRINI STRACCIATELLA (pan roasted cherry tomatoes, stracciatella, basil, balsamic reduction is pretty good but a little too sweet (even with the fennel sausage . Since the stracciatella and tomatoes are already sweet, I wish the balsamic reduction was a spicier or saltier sauce instead Calabrian chili oil maybe? But the texture of the gnocchi was good, and I liked the dish overall. I've had the SPEZIATA PIZZA both as thin crust and deep dish (Fridays only : mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni, pickled serrano peppers, and red onion. It's delicious. The toppings are both creamy and spicy, and I'm happy with a white pizza myself! The deep dish is really special, but I thought it was good as a thin crust, too. The desserts get changed up, so I've had a BLUEBERRY ALMOND CAKE (good , a RED VELVET CAKE (blah, I've never understood why this is so many people's favorite it just tastes of cream cheese icing and nothing else , and a pint of Taharka ice cream. I think it's fun they support local Taharka, but I wish they did something with it. I love Taharka, but a whole pint of Taharka just straight of the freezer? Maybe for takeout if you want it anyway, but it just doesn't seem like a complete restaurant dessert to me. How about a scoop and some homemade magic shell or something? (I really wanted to try the Damn Good Pie a bruleed buttermilk tart with chocolate cookie crumble crust made by their sister restaurant Dooby's but they were sold out . They offer some wines (including some natural options , beers, and cocktails. The service is great (seriously, all the staff are so friendly . And the restaurant is nice inside. Okay, so I got overly critical and foodie in this review, pretending to be a food critic when I'm just a Yelper!. But that's because I really, really like Noona's. If I didn't really, really like it, I wouldn't be as bothered by things that I wish were just a tiny bit different! So don't take my fine tooth comb critique as a reason not to go! I really like the food! Definitely check it out. It's a great restaurant in Baltimore that doesn't get as much attention as some others (maybe because of its location in Midtown? ."

"I visited Palomas twice before today. Once when the restaurant was newly opened with 3 other girlfriends of mines. We had a wonderful dining experience. Drinks were on point, and food was delicious. Second time was just all right, the food wasn't as great but that may have been a result of ordering off of a special menu they had. This most recent experience, the pork that comes with the guacamole was very large and under cooked. When the guacamole was brought to their attention we were told that it'll take very long for the pork to get cooked correctly so they wouldnt be able to do that and so we ordered only the guacamole instead. When the octopus that I ordered came out it was extremely dry, and for the cost it was nearly the size of a large pickle on the plate. When told to the kitchen that I didn't like the food I was told nothing could be done besides to receive a side of chips to eat with the meal I didn't want. Typically if you do not like a meal they usually will accommodate you, but not on this night. I'm extremely disappointed and my girlfriends and I will never visit this restaurant again. They charged me for the entire meal although I didn't take not one bite of the food. For $35 to loose a group of customers isn't worth it when we've spent over $1,000 here in six months. Guess the owner has clients to throw away. I work in the airline industry and have traveled and eaten at many establishments and have never been so dismissed as they have shown us tonight. The owner came out who is also the chef and never even addressed us, but that's the type of restaurant and customer service they have today."

"I visited this establishment on Dec 9 for lunch. I 've been here before after work, but for drinks once and one other time for apps, which I recall being good. It 's a nice place with music. So I chose it when meeting friends in the City because the other places that I wanted to go to either didn 't have availability or the reservations would be too late. We arrived early, checked in and was told we would be called at our time. We were forgotten. We sat down almost half hour later. (1 star removed as there were time constraints). The music this time around was insanely loud. We were yelling to hear each other. I think they may have upped it to create a vibe because it was Santacon (1 star removed). The waiter was super nice and tried making up for the confusion . We placed our orders. I ordered the the steak and eggs with parm fries and friends ordered the fried chicken sandwich with parm fries and arugula salad with chicken. One order came out missing the chicken because the place was just too loud and he misheard the order. Leo the waiter was fantastic. He made things right. The bartender was also great, but can 't remember his name. Will I return, sure, but not during Santacon. I 'll go again after work but if the music is that loud again, I 'll steer clear from this place. No point in going if you can 't have a conversation and come out with a sore throat from yelling."

"We came to Sesamo because of my friend?s recommendation. Even though it was a Friday night and the restaurant was full, it didn't feel too crowded. Great music, design, and a cozy atmosphere. It was a Friday night before Halloween, and the team at Sesamo restaurant did fantastic work with their Halloween decorations. Also, they have nice seating with a big red leather bench. I guess that space is for large groups of 6 and more, and I highly recommend requesting that spot if your group is large enough. Sesamo serves Italian cuisine with some Asian fusion, which is an excellent combination. Their service is also great. Our server Varsh was very accommodating, with plenty of great recommendations and knowledge about the dishes. Very positiveattitude and a beautiful smile. Very professional too. We ordered a few appetizers for sharing: ? Charcuterie board ? Salmon crostini ? Roasted broccoli Highly recommend the first two dishes. The size of the charcuterie board is big enough to share. Chicken liver mousse had an incredible taste with a light and gentle texture. Good combination with a savory blue fish on the same plate. Salmon crostini would be my favorite appetizer. Local smoked salmon tartare with local mustard ricotta and toasted bread was delicious, and the combination of ingredients let me enjoy each bite of that dish. Roasted broccoli was also very delicious. The curry on a peanut sauce takes one point out of this dish personally for me, but if you like curry, you will be in love with this dish as well. Entree: We ordered a Coconut Miso Salmon and lobster ravioli. Both of them deserve my high recommendation. The curry sauce made the salmon taste different, and that change is in a good way. Black rice finished the picture and gave a positive word about this dish. Lobster ravioli is very light, and even though it is pasta, it doesn't feel like a heavy dish. Very gentle texture. The temperature of the stuffing was warm enough to enjoy the taste and don't bur"
