"My husband and I visited this restaurant after seeing their buy one get one free entrée promotion, but we won't be returning. The entrées do not come with rice; you have to pay extra for it, which was unexpected. When our server explained this, we were a bit confused and agreed we wanted rice. However, she ended up charging us for a third entrée and ordered the biryani rice instead of plain rice. Consequently, we ended up paying nearly double what we anticipated.
My husband requested a receipt but did not receive one, so we didn't realize the rice situation until it was served to us. Initially, we thought the fancy rice justified the high price, but later we discovered there was a cheaper option we weren't offered. By the time we found this out, it was too late.
Additionally, although we dined in, all our food was served in takeout containers, and we were given paper plates and one plastic spoon each. This made it challenging to transfer food from the containers to our plates and difficult to cut the chicken and scoop up our food.
While I understand cost-cutting measures, they detracted from the overall experience. The food itself was decent; the spices were good, but everything was quite oily, and the sauce was thin and watery. Again, the small spoons made it hard for us to serve ourselves efficiently. Overall, we were not impressed."
