"I wish we had Veggie Grills all over the States…I’m not sure I would ever cook again! We popped into Seattle for a few hours and the Veggie Grill had over 100 reviews…so of course we went there and I’m so glad we did. We both ordered a Lentil Soup and the Cali Tempeh Power Bowl and my husband ordered extra tempeh. The bowl has organic ancient grains, organic glazed tempeh, and organic power greens marinated in mango-lemon vinaigrette with organic avocado, toasted almonds, dried cranberries, spiced pepita seeds, and sesame gochu drizzle. The soup and Bowl came out to about $20 each tax. The bowl had a nice kick and the flavors mixed brilliantly with the textures of the ingredients. I wish I had one nearby where I live in FL so I could try everything! Updated from previous review on 2024-06-23"

"I ordered the Arnold Schwarzenegger, a quesadilla, and the starter chips and dips. I’d rate it a 3.5, but the meals were quite good overall. The service from Codi was excellent, and the timing was perfect. The only downside was the chip bowl; the chips could be better and there were a few broken pieces. However, the taste and portion size of the meals were impressive. So, I’m giving it 4 stars and would definitely recommend it. Like any restaurant, there are good and bad days, but today was a good one. Cheers to that!"

"VG couldn't have done much to improve our experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered a bowl, crab sandwich, nachos, and a kids burger with fries. It seemed like they may have given us extra fries by accident, but we weren't complaining. All of our food was served hot, came out quickly, and was incredibly tasty. The drinks had a perfect balance of flavor without being too sweet. The fries had a crispy outer layer and a creamy potato texture inside.Overall, we had a great dining experience at VG."

"Vegan carne asada fries 5 ?!Veggie Grill is a fast casual vegetarian restaurant that I think was developed before the overall trend started to change, but don't quote me on that because I am merely speculating. This location is located directly next to the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood.They are fast, tasty, and overall, the prices are quite fair even economical, which is hard to find in LA if it's not fast food. I had a seasonal item carne asada fries, at least, I think it was seasonal. It filled me up, tasted great, and was all vegetarian, so my cholesterol level is happy with me. The dining room is large, and there is a big outdoor patio.Their menu is quite robust, so there should be something for everyone. Close to all the tourist stuff if you aren't from around LA and want a vegetarian place. I know the street parking is well, so I just parked on the street, but I used to park for the theater, so it's definitely an easy option.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian and also has vegan options."

"I love that this restaurant offers a variety of options, including fast food and healthy choices! I couldn't decide, so I ended up getting a delicious burger and a bowl of fresh veggies. The best part is that no matter what you choose to eat, you can be sure it's cholesterol-free! I admire their mission of providing better food options for people while also helping to save animals. It was great to see many parents dining here with their children, making healthy choices and avoiding animal products. Thank you for the fantastic food and inspiring mission! "We had lunch today and you will get freshly made chips and two types of sauce. All are very delicious! I ordered the chimichanga and it as absolutely amazing! Very delicious and delicious for the last bite! Our waiter was David and he was also Outstanding! You could never have a better waiter! Overall on a scale of 1-100 I would accept this restaurant in the 90s all for an incident. And this incident is... One of the Wait staff (NOT David) came from the toilet room and sniffed directly into his hands. We then saw him directly in the area where a fridge is, he opened it and got things that OHNE wash his hands. He was a stupid little guy, but I don't know what his name was. Personally, I would have fired him on site! Unlike this one edition, Jalapeno Tree is absolutely amazing!!! The food is something of the best you'll ever find!"

"Yummy! Love their food! Every time we go it is so good. Tons of flavor! Favorite is the chicken and beef fajitas and the mango margaritas! My only complaint is that the chili relleno only comes as a meal by itself. Not in a combo or able to add it on to a meal. The employees all say a lot of customers complain about that...so maybe the company should change that?"

"Well me and the hubby went to spend our 10 year anniversary weekend at one of our favorite restaurants without our kiddos (it’s been awhile we have 4) and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had from the moment we walked in the door. We asked for a booth because the chairs hurt my back the lady told me it was gonna be 10-15 mins because all the tables was dirty I can see several staff sitting over by the bar area she walks off to where they are the manager walks up to us and seats us immediately at a booth. Takes a few min before waitress comes to take our drink order when she does she is not friendly nor happy and seems in rush. Then takes forever to bring drinks to us. We immediately knew what we wanted since we waited so long for the drinks but we also wanted Queso which wasn’t asked when she took our drink order. So we waited and waited and waited some more our queso finally comes out but comes out with our food but at this point. We have no chips we have no refills our food is out but I ordered fajitas but didn’t have tortillas so I asked if I could get tortillas with my fajitas since it’s suppose to go with it so I see her walk to where they are made and I can see her and the lady that makes the tortillas get into some type of argument I’m waiting another 5 min before I can eat my food get my tortillas finally my food taste like it has been sitting under a heat lamp it didn’t taste fresh at all so wind up not finishing any of it didn’t even touch the queso because it came out when the food did. Then had to pay the $10 for queso I didn’t even get to eat because they brought it out to late. Just a horrible experience especially for such a special occasion."

"This veggie grill location is the worst I have ever been to. The food is consistently terrible, and the employees are always rude and creepy. My burger was lacking sauce, and the Mac and cheese was too liquidy. As soon as I walked in, the staff preparing the food couldn't stop staring and whistling at me. Despite placing a pickup order beforehand, the items I wanted were not available on the DoorDash app. When I brought this up to the cashier, she became frustrated and said she didn't know why. Additionally, the workers were speaking in Spanish with customers, which I found unacceptable. Why weren't they speaking English? How were they hired with no English skills? Overall, a very disappointing experience."

"I’m here in Dothan traveling for a week. I stopped by the facility to eat. The food was garbage. I had hamburger steak, which was overcooked, turnips that tasted straight out of a can and rutabagas. They were ok. The cornbread you could throw through a brick wall. The tea still had grains. I ordered sweet but it wasn’t all so sweet neither was my young waitress. She was so rude. While taking my order she stood as far away from the table as possible. I could barely hear her speak to me. She served everyone around me and never asked if I need a refill or was I ok. Very young to be racist. I waisted $17 on food today. I left the food on the table and not one TIP!!The cashier at the door was generous. I will NEVER eat here again while traveling . Seems like of color people are not WELCOMED!!!"

"I wish there were a few more Veggie Grill locations in Northern California, not because they’re a frequent stop, but because when one’s a vegan on the road, it’s great to know that there’s a reliable place one can go to. They’re always friendly and I think they’re much better quality than non-veg fast food places. I tried the Reuben on Rye here and thoroughly enjoyed it as a treat with some fries. The sandwich was a little more hot and spicy than I’d expected but very satisfying. The fries were very good but not quite as good as those of the Veggie Grill in Corte Madera, perhaps, a little less crispy."

"We're here 05/28/2022! We sat right away! We waited 15 minutes before our drinks order and after a few times and another 10 minutes we finally have our chips and diving! We have the chips and dive about 5 minutes before our food. We understand that they are servants, but there is no excuse for our food that is cold and unusable! My granddaughter and I both have cold food! Our other granddaughter and grandchildren could not eat their food because it had a bad taste. I guess it's okay that the ranch she asked never came! The reason they have 2 stars is because the manager takes a few away from the food and tries to make it right. I didn't want to leave any criticism, but she pointed out that the chips and diving were on them, which I think is common anyway. Being under personnel is not an excuse for cold food. After waiting for drinks or chips and diving I can understand that but not cold food. Hopefully, they are able to fix these problems."

"The food is decent, but the service is terrible. They wait 15-20 minutes for a table, although the restaurant is empty. It will take an hour to get your food. Simple enquiries like ?queso instead of chili? or ?no tomatoes? confuse the staff. If you have more than one person, at least one of you will have cold food and brown guacamole (educated). You? drive the road to Hector, Jalisco on the square, or to Ochoa to drive in Athens or Malakoff."

"If you go to a restaurant and they have signs that they won't be open on Tuesday because they can't help anyone to work there, you won't be satisfied. We took place. Chips and hot sauce broout. Hot sauce tastes like tomato soup from a can, not hot on it, just tomato flavor. Wife ordered a taco soup that is an appetizer. It doesn't matter until food is brought out. Only 6 (including us) people throughout the restaurant and it takes an hour to get food on the table. I told the waitress that it was good that they weren't busy. You mention that the service had gone down to which it had agreed. My meal was okay, especially if you like warm instant tea. The wife's meal was terrible. Taco soup was full of liquid cheese, beef tacos had yesterday meat in them as in dry and hard as a heat lamp makes meat. She said the soup had an acidic smell. It's already awhile since we last visited this Jalapeño site and I'll say for the record, it's our last."
