"First, we got so lucky with our server, Jordan. He was lovely from the first introduction and very informative about the dishes and drinks we were interested in. He checked in regularly but not in a bothersome way. He let us know the kitchen was closing soon and that he was leaving but putting us in good hands with someone else. "as others say vegan options are a limited, but I loved what I ordered and definitely recommend when they are around ocean beach. they can choose from the suppe, the spargel toast and the veggie chalk dish. I ordered the last two and was not disappointed! the corn bowl was their basic dish, but really good and healthy and the asparagus toast had a delicious combination of aromen. my friend ordered the French toast (not vegan) and said that was also very good. we come back! loves the relaxing atmosphere eating outside"

"A few things stood out on our visit to Roman’s. We had a table outside and a dog with us. The staff was courteous and attentive. They cleared tables as soon as people left. We had the Chicken Caprese Italian with pasta salad potato salad. Everything was very fresh and high quality. We’ll definitely go back! Oh, and I think they were the only business downtown that didn’t scrutinize shoppers who need a bathroom. Management gets it."

"If you are a college student (or anyone looking to eat, Krazi Kebob will not let you down. Out of the three years I have been at UMD this restraunt has been my #1 go to for whenever I decide to eat out. Their variety is incredible and everything Is insanely high quality with great portion sizes while maintaining a reasonable price. They combine so many amazing options and flavors. My go to being the double Achari Aloo Kati Roll which is always hot, packed neatly, and comes on a bed of their delicious French fries which go great with the dipping sauce (also provided! . Sometimes I add an order of their handmade samosas which have just the right amount of crunch and flakiness (you literally cannot go wrong with these . -Btw their fries are good reheated which is perfect for a midnight snack, mega W- Hats off to everyone working there! I will be seeing you again soon!!!"

"This place did not disappoint. I had the Korean chicken tacos which were really tasty. My husband had the garlic shrimp and commented on how flavorful the garlic noodles were and that he had more shrimp than he expected. The shrimp were delicious too. My kids had the fried rice and the yakisoba. Nice and flavorable. The furikake french fries were really tasty. Some fries fall flat, but these were really good served with both ketchup and aoili. Lastly, we had the nachos with pork. The pork was tender and had a lot of flavor. I love taro chips so this was a great appetizer. We had fun playing the pinball machines. It's a small place. Parking is a challenge, but overall, I'd love to come back for the food and the fun!"

"Coffee was good but some of the fruit on the fruit tart had mold on it. Repeat: The $11 fruit tart had mold on it. Inspect carefully before you purchase something.ETA: Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture, but it was white mold on a cluster of strawberries that we didn't notice until we'd already eaten some of it. My friend and I both had uncomfortable bathroom woes for the next two days, and the only thing we'd eaten in common was this fruit tart. I should add that I want local businesses to succeed (especially in this plaza! especially yours! , but it's so frustrating to pay this much for something this small in a remote part of Brooklyn and then get sick."

"My family and I came a few days ago and had the best burger in Grand Lake! Not only was the service exceptional, the food was super tasty and came out faster than expected. Perfect serving size with just enough to fill you up, and the chocolate milkshake is to DIE FOR! Also, a majority of the staff all go to CSU which is super cool. Go Rams!! "This bakery is exceptional, offering an array of delicious sweets and breads. We tried a selection of pastries, including a chocolate éclair, a wonderfully flaky item, and what appeared to be a chocolate soufflé—each one was top-notch. I also ordered a baguette sandwich with brie, and the bread had a fantastic crust and texture. We saved the chocolate soufflé for later, and it turned out to be my favorite. It was a perfect soufflé, featuring rich dark chocolate and a light exterior, with a dense, almost fudgy center. I absolutely loved it!"

"The restaurant has recently switched from using a professional bagel slicing machine to hand cutting a dozen bagels. When I mentioned that their decision to stop using the machine was creating extra work for them, the server informed me that it wasn't broken, they just found it too loud. Now, customers have to wait for uneven hand cut bagels that don't fit in the toaster. It's a puzzling decision."

"I eat all kinds of pizza! Dairy, non-dairy, gluten, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, toppings, plain: I actually crave Screamers. Their toppings are always fun and inventive and has the classic NY crust and ingredient proportions so it tastes and holds so much like a regular slice. Same with regular pizza, I will also eat this unheated- it's that good. I also really appreciate the atmosphere here: people with dietary restrictions can have that same local pizza place experience without it feeling crunchy granola.
