"Worst Experience Ever! Not sure if it?s a Shaadi Hall or Restaurant? DONT GO HERE EVER! I decided to take my family to this restaurant and it was the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. We were 9 people, and we ordered Nihari, Mutton Karahi, Biryani and Seekh Kabab. The Nihari worst nihari I?ve ever had in my entire life. It smelled bad and was nothing close to what a nihari is supposed to taste like. We had to send it back. The goat Karahi smelled so bad and the portion was not even for one person. The price was so high. The seekh kabab it was as if it was for a kid, so small. The Biryani is the only good thing maybe the one star is for that. BUT THE FOOD WASN?T even the worst part. There was a wedding going on, and it was as if we were attending the wedding ourselves. If you?re supposed to have a shaadi hall at least have a wall partition. We couldn?t even eat in peace coz all we kept hearing was loud Dholkis, music and shouting. And it was so loud that I almost wanted to leave. We aren?t there to attend a wedding or some random people, we are here to eat in peace. And the worst thing was also the service. The waiter tells us that we have to order quick coz the kitchen is busy coz of the wedding. Either just close your restaurant when there?s a wedding going on or just take care of your customers. And they charged us $25 gratuity I HAVE NO IDEA WHY? it depends on the customer how much they want to pay the tip you don?t force it on someone. Im never ever coming back to this awful restaurant. My advice to you guys would be to never ever go to this place. Awful service, awful food, and awful atmosphere."

"I ordered butter chicken, medium spicy, for takeout. It was the worst butter chicken I've ever had and I've had a LOT of Indian cuisine from around Illinois. The chicken was not tender and was dry, the curry sauce was literally flavorless (I was shocked at this there was literally no flavor to it other than butter), and it did not even come with rice. In addition, the curry sauce was not thick at all. It was very runny. Think of red butter water and that's an accurate depiction of the curry sauce. If you want an example of AMAZING Indian food and are up for a drive, try Bloom Bawarchi or Aroma Indian in Bloomington, IL. THAT is Indian cuisine done right and I promise either will be worth the drive. Both restaurants pack their dishes full of vibrant flavor and spice AND include rice with their entrees. I mean seriously why does Sara's not include rice? I've never eaten at an Indian restaurant that does not include rice with butter chicken but maybe it's just as well because if they can't even do butter chicken, how bad would the rice be?Judging from other reviews (which I wish I had read prior to ordering), I'm marking Sara's up as overpriced, overrated, and terrible food. Eat somewhere else even McDonalds prior to closing at night where they give you the leftover food that's been sitting all day would be better. This is possibly the worst food I've ever eaten at a restaurant."

"Re: Peshawari Kababs Union City Four of us went there for dinner. It’s a bit far from South Bay, so we don’t go there often, but must say, their food is just top notch and worth the drive. We ordered Chicken karahi Charsi style (3 lbs) Maash ki daal (in desi ghee) Chapli kabab (no picture) Naan and romali roti Chicken Karahi was fantastic. Not too oily.Taste was great. Chicken pieces were meaty and very nicely cooked. The masala was not over powering and tasted veryauthentic. Maash ki daal was the surprising star of the evening. Desi ghee added both a distinct smell and unique taste whichreminded us of back home. Very authentically cooked. Taste was great. Naan and roti were soft and fluffy. Chapli kabab wereok. I am not a huge fan of Peshawari style chapli since they are very thick. And these seemed a bit overcooked from the sides. But my friends liked them. Afterwards we had kheer which was more Afghan style firni. It was good. They also served chai, which was decent. We sat outside, on their distinct style sitting area, where you have to take off your shoes and sit desistyle. That doubled the fun. Weather was great. Overall, very nice experience. The service was friendly and attentive. Thekarahi is cooked fresh so it takes them 50 60 minutes to cook. Fortunately we ordered half an hour before we showed up there, sothat really helped. Highly recommend for those who want to enjoy authentic taste of karahi."
