"This restaurant is incredible! There are very few family-run establishments left, and none that compare to the greatness of Banning. Everything is homemade, from their cakes to their chicken pot pie to their savory meat pies and rich desserts. We were truly impressed by their delicious offerings. We enjoyed the savory meat pie and the chicken pancake—I've never tasted a better crust or filling than Banning’s pot pie! The seasoned meat was flavorful and delicious. For dessert, we tried their amazing scratch-made berry poppyseed cake and carrot cake, both of which were moist, rich, and unique. I highly recommend this place. The menu selection and service were exceptional. Be sure to arrive early, as they are very popular and fill up quickly. If you're looking for a fantastic meal, Banning is the place to go. Kudos to the family and staff at Banning’s for providing such excellent food! We will definitely be back!"

"The staff here are incredibly friendly! I ordered the three taco combo, which included asada, fish, and carnitas, and they were all quite delicious. The flavors were straightforward yet tasty. The refried beans were enjoyable, and the chips had a nice crunch. I found the rice could use a bit more seasoning, but it was still acceptable. The spicy red sauce had a nice kick, while the green sauce was milder, which I personally preferred. I'm excited to come back for breakfast soon, and I’ll definitely return for the combo plate. "I visited this restaurant after watching "The Next Thing You Eat" on Hulu featuring David Chang. I had lunch here on a Friday morning with my husband. I ordered the sweet bowl (which was super tasty and filling) and the veggie bao (also very tasty and quite filling) with dragonfruit. My husband had the mummbo which he really enjoyed. I wish I could come here every day when I lived nearby, but I will definitely visit again whenever possible. I highly recommend dining in or ordering from this place. The staff are also very friendly."

"I have really enjoyed this place in the past. But the past couple of times I've been there, the portions have been way smaller than they used to be. When the bowl is only half way full, it's hard to pay $10.00. On top of that, this time around it was cold, like the rice and chicken in the Baja bowl were barely warm at best. "Went for a business meal and everything we ordered was lovely and well presented. Between the 5 of us we shared the cheese plate, charcuterie and olives, all of which were great. For entrees we had a variety of the scallops and pork chops, which were all fabulous. And for dessert, the peaches were amazing. The service, however, was subpar and not what you expect with the cuisine or pricing. Our waitress took excessive time bring drinks, following up on small requests and was sloppy poor wine at the table. She also forgot to charge us for a bottle of wine and called and left me voicemails post-meal to say that the credit card we used to pay would be charged.... a conversation I then had to relay to my boss who paid for the meal. Poor form."

"I would have taken more photos of the place because it's absolutely adorable, but there were SO many people that it would have felt like I was invading their privacy ruining their dining experience. The food is incredible I will go back get more photos. I also forgot to snap photos of the menu, my apologies. I was a bit upside down in my feels, because the person who took my order was VERY unpleasant. I am hoping that they are NOT there when I go back. However, the food made up for that persons attitude. SO many incredible flavors going on, nothing bland, nothing dry, tons of organic, incredible wonderfulness! The Beef is indescribable I'm not even a Beef eater! I certainly am excited to go back to order other items!"
