"positiw, our waitress was really nice, eating was very good. con bar service was terrible. it took 15 minutes to get our cocktails, and the explanation was that they run low on the glasses. I've never heard that before. then we ordered a bottle of wine with our escapes. Surprisingly, the glasses came away immediately, but lasted 20 minutes to get the bottle. we were almost done when it finally came."

"Once again Mortons demonstrates it's inability to prepare a steak at medium temperature. It took two return trips to the cook and the end result was a filet mignon that was ruined. To their credit the other entree's were closer to what was desired and only one entree was cooked perfectly as ordered. Not the time this has happened nor the last I am afraid to say. You would have thought the ruined steak would have been removed from the bill but instead, a free desert was offered. The only thing that saved this special occasion birthday dinner on Mother's Day was the great table service and the company"

"I’ll rate my experience at STK a I had a small conflict with the host at the door, there was a lot of miscommunication and misconduct in the very beginning. The food was decent, I was excepting the food to be more than what it was but it was okay. My waiter was very pleasant and attentive. I rate my waiter an he made my friend and I feel very comfortable and that he made sure that we received everything that we needed. There were other waiters who were very helpful as well."

"Three of the 4 of us ordered the ribs, which is one of the reasons we come there. Two of us received delicious ribs but one received a very tough dish and had to end it back. The manager came out and apologized and put an order in for another. Of course it takes a while and the rest of us finished our meal. When the second order came out it was as bad as the first and couldn't be eaten. we told them to forget it and ordered dessert. My friend was very disappointed as were we, the fact that we came to celebrate a birthday and my friend didn't have lunch."

"We celebrated a birthday dinner which I noted in our OpenTable reservation. There were four of us. Our server was super friendly. My husband and I shared a full rack of ribs. He took his first bite and it was just awful dry and so chewy he couldn't keep it in his mouth. I've never seen him ever do this. The manager was nearby and I flagged him down. He handled it beautifully and said I will make you a new order right away. Our waitress checked on us soon after and I informed her of what happened. the new plate of ribs was very good tender and falling off the bone. The corn bread appetizer was yummy and the other entrees were good. Waitress didn't keep our drinks filled and she spaced out getting us a container for our cole slaw to take home. She didn't offer anything for the birthday boy. The manager did end up taking off the ribs from our bill which was very nice and the right thing to do."

"Wishbone started in the West Loop long, long before most other places that exist in the area today, and they used to have other locations. Their current West Loop location is newer and it's now the only one. This Cajun inspired restaurant has greatbreakfast dishes like a Jambalaya Omelet and Crunchy French Toast (that is crunchy and delicious). Sides and a corn muffin comewith most dishes and you've got a choice of cheesy grits, collard greens, and a number of other southern style sides. There's afull bar and a fun, mostly fruity, specialty drink list. They keep the coffee coming, service has always been good, and the menuoffers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only downside is that the dining room is pretty noisy and often has large groups."

"We spent some time in the cozy room, but about 30 minutes into our meal, a table for 8 was seated at the table for 6 near us. It made it impossible for us to have a conversation. We left before ordering dessert. My partner and I are now reconsidering our reservation for Thanksgiving dinner, worried about a repeat of this experience. I was especially disappointed since I had chosen this restaurant. I understand there may not be much they can do about disruptive diners. On a positive note, my halibut was delicious."

"My wife and I are in town on a business trip and decided to book a reservation at Morton’s. The staff and service level here is incredible. Our waiter, Peter, absolutely qualifies as a fine dining service professional as did the Maitre d. The food was very good The location left a lot to be desired. When we booked through OpenTable we didn’t realize this location is inside a casino. It is accordingly loud and reeks of cigarette smoke. I have to imagine it’s to cover the cigarette odor, the interior of Morton’s is heavily perfumed. The staff was very gracious and tried to move our table to reduce the smell but it isn’t really something in their control I would love to dine with the wonderful staff here again but we don’t have any desire to enter the building again."

"Had lunch at this classy yet casual little cafe in Glencoe. It's one of those pretty quiet places where if it's not coffee, it's usually some brunch cocktails or that kind of stuff along with some pretty good food such as salads and sandwiches. An Apple A Day also does catering. Pretty good prices for a small cafe like it. The atmosphere can be kind of too quiet though. A pretty simple looking cafe. It really doesn't have much ambience to be honest. There's a few tables inside and not much else besides that. Has alcohol. It's about $13 for a cocktail. Those are the cheapest ones. A lot are the brunch kind such as mimosas. Guess it fits with the crowd as most seem to be the soccer mom types. I got a Paloma. This is grapefruit, lime, and tequila. Food menu is kind of limited. We got one of the few vegetarian options: the Sesame Asian Salad. It's $14, which wasn't that bad because the salad was big. This had almonds, carrots, cucumbers, mandarin oranges, red peppers, sesame seeds, and tomatoes. Kind of sweet but not too much. This was light but filling for a salad. Could try it again some time at lunch. It also does catering for parties. The food isn't the most impressive and there's not too many vegetarian choices besides salads but besides that it's okay for brunch, lunch, and whatever."

"My Bus Boy was kind and professional. The waitress needs improvement. The attitude was unreal and rushed. Felt like we inconvenienced her. The Calamari was dry n hard. One of the worst I have tasted. And why would you have Jalapeños on it?! I don’t know which is the worst calamari, Olive Gardens or this one. Lobster was the size of a Jumbo Shrimp. Steak was something I could’ve cooked at home. Ambience is Loud and you can here everyone’s problem cause of the booth. The sounds bounce off the wall. It wasn’t energetic for the Choice, its loud and **** ambience. Jamul steakhouse is way better! Professional and food is Fantastic!"

"The food was spot on, but the review is primarily dropped down due to bad service. We went here around 7.45 PM on Sunday for our anniversary dinner. We reached and were looking around for a minute or two. Nobody was there as a host to get us a table. Finally somebody came around and got us seated. We sat down on a table, but they were having oysters at next table, so it had a smell. Being vegetarians, we are not used to it. So we asked if we could switch somewhere else. Our server, a 40-45 yr old gentleman, just started moving stuff and giving us rude looks. I mean we just asked to move. When seated, they brought us out the complimentary garlic knots. We were excited to try them seeing the reviews here. They were raw/undercooked. When he came around, we asked if he could replace them with a more cooked batch. He said what else do you want. Everybody eat it, nobody complains. I said we would like to try this, just something that is a little more cooked and not doughy like this. Begrudgingly, he took it back and brought a fresh batch. His wine suggestions were spot on. We really enjoyed that. Bruschetta was fresh and amazing. Must try. I tried penne pasta linguine, which was just okay. My wife tried cheese raviole with rose sauce, which was delicious. Highly recommend the latter, former can be ignored. All this while not one server has come to check on anything or refill water. Our original server was MIA, and somebody else took our entrees order. They were moving about in the dining area, so not sure why they wouldn’t check on if we need more wine or water. We finished our dinner and waited 5-10 mins for them to come so we could place our dessert order. Eventually we just took it to-go. Tiramisu was amazing as well.. I got no network in the restaurant, so could not self pay. But had to wait and wave again for them to take my card. The food was great and we enjoyed the wine too, but we had really high hopes based on the reviews we had read. I wish the service was better, it was totally atrocious and put a dampener on the whole experience."

"Despite a pretty wide open restaurant, we were seated across from a table of about 10 people who were very loud. Should have asked to be moved. We were really looking forward to the Buffalo shrimp but it was a big disappointment. The sauce is no longer the traditional Buffalo sauce that was so good…it’s now more of a BBQ sauce. And there were only 4 shrimp…I seem to recall it being 5 or 6 of them in the order. The Brussels sprouts were much better. They were roasted with just enough crisp and a nice flavor. The sea bass had good flavor and was a. I’ve thick piece. The braised short rib was tender and flavorful. Ordered the banana cream pie for dessert and was surprised that it’s more of a deconstructed pie: the crust was crumbled, laid on top of bananas, and with the custard and cream on top. Tasted OK but not really a pie like I wanted. The key lime pie was huge and tasted good."

"okay, so in the second night in the row to dinning. again eating was excellent service not so. in the night before the valentinstag found the computer system down and the server had to take the orders with pad and pencil. how difficult was that? should not be that I grew up in the restaurant, not so difficult to order with pad and pencel. Now, tonight was the computer up and didn't run so much the service. we arrived before several other tables and yet they got the service of bread and water before us. We finally brought our waiter to pick up our drinks, ask for bread and he took our order. we plan on getting rid of it, so we first ordered appetizers. never seen the waiter again and when we did, he came with a dessert menu! this restaurant has won dinning awards, but I guess it is for eating because the service is lmao. we were in town for the jazz weekender in the quail lodge. we were in the same quail lodge last year. service was excellent. not so in this year. this is my hometown and it was disappointing to say that the quality of the service has only fallen fair. I said I would recommend to a friend as yes, as there is no maybe, but I will warn them that the service is completely missing."
