"A well-regarded high-end restaurant with an exceptionally broad menu...from creative 'Small Plates ' to House Specialties to classic Steakhouse offerings. As the evening progressed, it became apparent that there were issues in the kitchen and, as it turns out, with our waiter. When the main courses arrived, the servers, not our waiter, were asking who got this and who got that? Really, that went out with diners in the 1950s. And the food was warm, not the temperature at a high-end place unless it sat under a heat lamp too long. And one meal showed up no one ordered. No apologies, no 'we will take care of it ' just frustrated looks on the servers. As we sat there being polite and not starting our meals, our waiter finally arrived and insisted that someone ordered the item no one ordered. He went around the table 'grilling ' each person as to what they ordered. Finally, as most people were half finished the last meal arrived. It definitely took the shine off the evening. With so many other high-end choices in the area, for Ladera Grill it is one and done if employees like what we experienced are tolerated."
