"on holiday and visit by frankfort on Monday evening and dinner at the hotel frankfort restaurant. we were not in the hotel, but our dinner was great! jake, our waiter did a great job that took care of us all the time we were there. nice eating and drinking menu. the muted garnels were excellent, and my wife had the roared white fish she said she was very favorit of all time. beautiful and relaxing on the deck outside. we really enjoyed our food and waited. Thanks for making such a great job. when they will read this review and be in frankfort, they think in the hotel frankfort for a good meal."

"this is exactly what you’d hope for: friendly staff, small but well balanced menu, intimate seating, incredible food. it’s clear they’re doing something very right, as evidenced by the crowds (which they manage well). the pizza is why people come, and every one of them we had three were delicious. egg and sausage was a standout but pepperoni was also great. we also had the pork ribs starter, and they are some of the best ribs i’ve ever had. both desserts were great, but the blueberry crisp was sublime. all in all, a huge fan. would recommend to anyone in the area, and would say it’s worth the drive if you’re within an hour of it. for context, the four of us had three starters, three pizzas, two desserts and multiple rounds of beers and it was under $200."

"In short: Food was very good, but service was lacking for a restaurant of this price range. Would still recommend giving it a shot if you find the menu appealing. For some more detail: No one to seat us when we first arrived. Waited a couple minutes, not a big deal, but person who did come was not friendly, seemed annoyed. Waitress was friendly, but a little slow. When our orders were finally taken, food didn't take long to be served, but my plate was lukewarm. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, flavor was excellent, but unfortunately it just wasn't hot anymore, room temperature after a few bites. A shame because otherwise it would've been a great dish. The other main dish was warm hot, so I imagine the plates just weren't timed correctly and my sandwich was sitting for a few minutes before it was served. If any of these mistakes had happened alone, I would happily give 4 or 5 stars, but the service was subpar throughout the evening."

"I love to eat and eat and love to find new restaurants in nashville. that is, miel is easily one of the best meal times I've ever had in nashville, only from catbird seat and half price. miel has a focus on the farm to market fresh and sustainable food. many of their foods are grown in a garden and let me tell them that freshness is obvious in quality. service was fantastic and our waiter, t roy, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. We followed all his recommendations and were blown away from each individual, including weeping! the menu is set up in a list format with the smallest plates on the top and the largest plates on the bottom instead of appetizer and Entree sections. let her waiter know how hungry they are so s / he can show them in the correct direction to their desired portion size. miel is a small restaurant that is strapped off on a side street and hard to see by charlotte ave. it has a lot of parking. After I have eaten here, I have flew away, it is no longer the best of lists etc. t roy told us that miel does not advertise and they prefer to stay under the radar and get the people to come for mouthpropaganda. t roy I'm sorry, but the secret is now out because we told everyone they have to go to miel! our first thought was at the end of the meal, when can we come back? this is a non-passenger restaurant! go tonight!"

"On a recent trip to Portland we were lucky to have a later dinner at Lolita. What a sweet and romantic little place. The staff was wonderful our waitress was incredibly helpful with wine suggestions and wonderful fun and light. She was there when we needed something without floating. The food was incredibly delicious. We have two toasts and a pot. Both the Rapini Toast and the Roast Pork Toast were really balanced and packed. The Smoked Bass Pot was the only product that seemed less tasteful it seemed little too no taste of smoke to him and it was overwhelmed with Dill. Next we got the Fire Roasted Marrow Bones (the mushrooms that accompanied the Mark were delicious! and a special Beef Carpaccio that was nicely cut and delicious. We finished by sharing it near perfect Bucatini and the sweet and juicy Wood Roasted Clams. The wines we got were super tasty and the plasters of the different course was on place. We definitely come back to our next trip!"

"The manager was a little testy when we arrived. Because of a bad experience in the past with an order service after 45 minutes our entrees never arrived we quickly paid the bill left , I always call ahead request Michael the server. We will not go there unless we get Michael because he is the best. The manager tried to give us another server even after I called spoke to another employee she said we would have Michael. After a couple of minutes we ended up with Michael everything was great. !! I do not want this manager dealt with, however, I own a retail business always pay it forward. "The highlight of this restaurant is undoubtedly the soup dumplings. While the rest of the menu features dishes you can find elsewhere, the soup dumplings stand out as truly exceptional. The wrapper is thin yet pleasantly chewy, and the broth inside is both hot and flavorful. The meat filling is lean and generous. I also tried the shrimp soup, which was tasty but not particularly memorable. The service was good, but with a wait time of about an hour (I arrived at 5 and didn’t start eating until around 6:15), I’m not sure it’s worth it overall."

"I love joes shanghai as much as everyone said I would! You must try the suppenknödel! they were delicious! we visited their new venue and they had no fleet license so we could not have a drink, but it was clean and neat. we had a little waited, but it was totally worth it! beside the knödeln we had the egg frits, kung Pao chicken and the scalion pfannkuchen! I would order it again and I will be back in nyc next time!"

I really can't recommend this place given the poor quality of the food for such a high price. I suggest the owners check out their competition, such as Margot Cafe in East Nashville or Cork and the Cow in South Nashville. These restaurants offer comparable prices but provide much better quality and freshness in their dishes."

"This was my second visit to Polanco K B, and I was once again impressed. Our waiter, Miguel, was friendly and attentive, and his assistant, Peter, matched that eagerness to please. I appreciate the well-lit dining area; it makes it easy to read the menu and see what you're eating. The prawn appetizer was not only large but also sweet and delightful. We also enjoyed the 'Mixto' cocktail, which was quite refreshing. Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the 'Leche de Tigre.' The steaks were cooked to perfection, accompanied by huitlacoche butter, which is the Mexican version of truffle butter. To top off the meal, the Dulce de Leche pudding was a deliciously satisfying finale—lightly sweet, topped with whipped cream and a praline chip."

"we sat in free due to covid measures. they have sun umbrellas with outdoor and casual chairs (not comfortable enough to live for hours) outside the sitting area is fraught with passing subway train sounding every 5 min so hard to hold a cone with friends. that said eating is exquisite and reasonable. wish there could be something you could do about the environment noise (it's too much.) short of which the brunch menu is amazing."

"Food was excellent and the service even better. Made a last minute Christmas dinner reservation for Basil's and wasn't sure how things would go. Best decision ever. Arrived and they were pretty busy and had a limited staff. Got seated quickly but we asked to be moved to the bar area since we were by the door. Not a problem. They asked to take our order before moving to help get our food a little quicker. Nice. Even though they were really busy we had our food in about 15 minutes. I had Lamb Chops and my wife had Med Crusted Chicken. Both meals were excellent. We (as every table) interacted with at least 4 staff members as they were busy so the rotated tables to ensure everyone was well taken care of. The service and the attitude was top notch. I highly recommend Basil"s. You won't be disappointed."

"I wanted to like this place so badly, but for the price point and service, it just wasn’t it and didn’t hit. The ribeye was flavorful and brown butter mashed potatoes were tasty, but the ribeye steak still was sad looking with three baby halved potatoes. I told the server I couldn’t eat raw meat due to my health condition and asked for the steak to be medium. We also ordered the rack of lamb, which we were not asked how we’d like it cooked. It was served to me pretty raw and when I mentioned it to the server, he was trying to convince me that it was cooked even though I couldn’t cut through the meat and it was pretty raw inside. They took it back to cook it more on the grill and then it was actually cooked. Major turnoff. Our busser was much more friendly and attentive than our expressionless/emotionless server. For almost a $200 meal, there are so many other places we would rather try or spend our money."

"I’ve dined here many times, and it seems to improve with every visit. You won’t be disappointed at this place. There’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from, but my favorite is the Cashew Chicken. The chicken is fresh, and the vegetables are vibrant and crispy, not dull and soggy. You’re really going to love it!"
