"In response to the owner's comments, I'd like to clarify that we truly felt the dishes we tried lacked flavor. Perhaps we missed something, but we didn't feel we were given the benefit of the doubt. We ordered several items, and despite dining with friends, none of the dishes we tried appealed to us. It seemed there was no effort to resolve our dissatisfaction or acknowledge that something might be off with our meal.
**Further Update:**
I returned with some friends and decided to try a few more dishes. The green beans stood out because they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the special of the day, which was ribs served with snow peas imported from Harbin—these were unlike anything available locally. Additionally, we had a clear soup with tofu and meatballs, and all three of these dishes were excellent and bursting with flavor.
However, we also ordered the Sichuan pepper pork belly, which was universally disliked among our group. Unfortunately, it lacked any real taste, despite its appealing presentation. When we requested to have that dish removed from the bill, the manager refused. This experience was disappointing, especially since I don’t visit often. Given this, I don't think I'll be returning or recommending this place to others, as it's frustrating to be treated so stingily."
