"Located in a perfect oceanfront spot in Cardiff, this restaurant is a great choice for those looking for a beautiful view. Parking can be difficult, but they offer valet for $7, which is convenient. We requested a table by the ocean and were seated there without any issues. We started off with a cucumber jalapeño margarita and some sushi. I preferred the cucumber jalapeño drink for its kick, but found the agave too sweet. Their gluten-free and vegetarian menu options were a big plus for us, as my husband has a gluten sensitivity. The Cardiff roll we ordered was excellent, with fresh tuna and crab. The raw jalapeño on top added a nice touch, but may not be for everyone. Next time, I'd like to try their sunset roll with coconut shrimp. The short rib entree we shared was massive and delicious. The Brussels sprouts were a bit under seasoned and the potato gratin was mediocre. For dessert, we shared a coconut cheesecake, which my husband loved but I found just okay (I prefer chocolate). Overall, I'd definitely return to try more dishes."

"We ordered the $9 tater tot skewers, but they were overcooked and didn't taste like potatoes at all. My lamb chops were small and dry, lacking flavor. My boyfriend opted for the penne pasta with an additional $7 charge for chicken, but the chicken was burned on the bottom. The sauce that was supposed to be creamy ended up being more coagulated than anything else, and while the flavor was decent, the pasta had a watery taste. When the bill arrived, we were charged for two Cokes even though I only had one. I wasn't sure if they charged for water, and my boyfriend wanted to leave, so I didn't say anything. "I will preface my review by saying that the brewery was an hour from where we were staying and only went here to see Los Huevos (pictured) playing that day. Based on reviews we would not have visited normally but are glad we did. It was a beautiful day and we were able to sit outside on their deck where we could see the band. They also had a yard with picnic tables and cornhole setup. I had a Cobb salad with grilled chicken (pictured) It was fresh and delicious. My wife's chicken sandwich was also excellent. She had a mixed drink and I had their Dunkel German style beer. Honestly we had no complaints about any of it. After finishing our meals we went out to the lawn area to sit closer to the music. You can walk to a service window from the yard for additional drinks. They even had water available to help yourself which was great because it was really hot that day. Service was very good as well. We had a great time and stayed for all 3 hours of Los Huevos."

"I really like the menu options and atmosphere of Sojourn Social, so I'm sad that our evening here was such chaos. They're usually understaffed, but the people were also polished. Now it's like no one there has ever worked in a restaurant before. What should have been a relaxing and uplifting night was made unpleasant by some of the worst management and training I've experience in a former neighborhood gem. We were told I didn't have a reservation even though I'd confirmed through OpenTable and left a phone message that afternoon. They managed to accommodate us about 20 minutes later and it started the evening on an unwelcoming and stressed out note that persisted through my trying to post this review. As others mention, the food was very slow to arrive. No one brought share plates for the appetizers and I finally took them from the next unseated table. The entrees came out after nearly an hour. Two were missing ketchup so I guess no one was checking what left the kitchen. One order hadn't been placed at all, so my friend was served way after the rest of us. They don't split checks more than two ways and we owned from $20 $80, so we had to do all the calculations and write out a cheat sheet for the waiter. Before I made the reservation, I confirmed that they were participating in Negroni Week. Turns out they were not, so the fun flights from last year were unavailable which was very disappointing. It cost them money too since two people then decided to skip drinks altogether. Finally, I had to contact OpenTable support because whatever Sojourn did to my reservation put it in my dining history but blocked me from posting. I've been using this service for about 15 years and never had this happen. I hope they fix the problems (more training? small menu? different system altogether? But I will not be recommending it or going back for a while."

"Terrible service !!! It could be because they add the tip to your bill no matter how many are in the party.. therefore there was no incentive for the waiter to give good service . Never asked if we wanted more to drink, never refilled the water glasses .. took the order someone else dropped of the food.. and no service after except to leave the bill.. Was hoping it would be a new place to hang out when visiting Miami monthly) but unfortunately I won't be returning"

"It's a very nice place but I am diabetic limited to 30 carbs on a meal so unless I get one of two salads and omit the blue cheese not much for me. The salad with faro has minimal vegetables as do most entrees. Which is too bad because my husband loves this restaurant. They used to have a more extensive menu pre covid. Time to mix it up again."

"This place has been going downhill and my last visit will be my last. Loud political talk from the bartender, mainly just sitting chatting with I guess a friend from outside work. I ordered 3 orders of the dry rub wings, extra crispy. They come out barely cooked and no dry rub. I asked the bartender if we could get some dry rub to put on ourselves. She said no need it's already on it, which it wasn't. I asked again, she acted pissed off and went to the kitchen. She came back out and literally said well we don't have any today that's why it's not on them, but here's the recipe for what he uses if you want to take them to go and make it yourself. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE TOO MANY OTHER GREAT OPTIONS!!!!!!"

"I live in Dos Vientos and really want this resto to succeed. The first two didn't make it for various reasons, but I think this one has the potential to endure its opening pains The food and wine list by the glass are quite good. Prices are reasonable.The manager and the staff are quite accommodating and friendly. They need to add several baffles (soundproofing devices) throughout the resto as the noise level is quite high. Even the girl at reception said they can't hear people on the phone and need to go under the counter to try to hear. I find people seem to have a need to shout when talking and laugh very loud, which is annoying, hurts the ears and can ruin a nice dining experience. Soundproofing could help dampen the loud crowd."

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered the turkey sliders, and they were soggy and undercooked. My friend got the beef sliders, and by the end of the night, he was unfortunately feeling unwell. I wouldn't recommend this place; better to look for somewhere else to eat."

"We were searching for a restaurant downtown to grab dinner before a show and stumbled upon Urban Bar Grill while browsing options in the car on the way. The menu caught our eye with its interesting food offerings and reasonable prices. We were able to easily make a reservation through OpenTable before arriving, which was convenient. We were not let down. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed sitting at a lovely sidewalk table. We mentioned to our server that we had a show to attend and they ensured that our food arrived in a timely manner. We will definitely return, as there are so many delicious options on the menu."
