In the Milwaukee Burger Co. in Wausau on the way home from Northern Wisconsin, because we were "satisfied in the past with the food service of the chain, in other places. The restaurant was about 40% full when we arrived. Within 10 minutes of arrival and at the time we have ordered, the capacity was about 20% full. After waiting for our food for 20 minutes, the waitress (Maisyn) apologized for waiting. We appreciate the apology and waited more. After another 10 minutes, she apologized. This time we were tempted, as we hoped to eat at our 5 hour drive home. 45 minutes after the order, our food arrived. My husband's fries were cold. The waitress apologised for the 3rd time and said she would have brought out new fries immediately what she did. My summer strawberry salad was obviously only in the name. Literally a strawberry, cut into 4 thin slices above my salad, which also had about 8 blueberries and 4 small pieces of pineapple. If I hadn't ordered the chicken to fill the salad, it would have been one of the most pitiful salads I've ever served. The manager came by and took my husband's chicken sandwich off the bill and gave us a $10 gift certificate to be used for our problems in the future. There was no excuse from the manager. The waitress Maisyn, who was fantastic and the only bright spot in the restaurant, had excused us 4 different times... for something that wasn't her fault. Apparently it is under the dignity of management to apologize? The gift certificate was a nice gesture, but it will definitely not be used at this place. The only reason this review received 2 stars and not 1, is because Maisyn was such a great waitress. We left her a $20 tip for a $28 bill (before discount). Management might have some lessons from Maisyn."
