"Not very impressed. I ordered a BQ chicken salad and curly fries via Uber. So I do what I always do and I can call the store and ask them for the condiments and the special requests just in case they don't read it and I spoke to the guy working myself and asked for extra ranch plz. Lo and behold the salad comes with no extra ranch. The french fries are cold rock hard, and just not edible and the salad is soggy because it had been tossed a grip too many times with too much dressing. Usually restaurants won't toss their salad for customers on to go orders because the risk of the salad just becoming soggy and ineible. the chicken also reminds me of that unfavorable memory of being 12 and eating Oscar myer cold lunch meat chicken pieces. Not happy."

"Completely unimpressed! I've heard nothing but wonderful things about this place, so I had made reservations months ago for an anniversary brunch. When we arrived, most tables were empty, yet we waited almost 20 minutes to be greeted/seated. No one checked our reservation, which included a request for creme brulee champagne to celebrate. After ordering, our food arrived in stages. We ordered 2 breakfast meals 1 side of bacon. Bacon never arrived toast was delivered at the same time as our check...AFTER we were done eating. No mention of our anniversary at all. I think perhaps they were understaffed, but with only a handful of guests, the workload seemed manageable. If it weren't for the view/weather, I'd definitely decline to ever go back. It's hard to mess up breakfast...but somehow, they managed to. Ugh!"

"Our server Parker really set the bar high for Anchorage dining with his outstanding service. 10/10 will dine here again. All staff members were friendly and you could tell they were working hard to keep the operation going. The food was perfect. We hada larger group and they handled it well with everything coming out at once, fresh and expertly put together. Presentation was onpoint and nothing was off about this dining experience. My only regret is not eating here sooner."

"I had a really bad experience today while dining here. But we have had truly wonderful and memorable food experiences here in the past. Seems like the management and food has changed significantly. We waited for our food with a toddler for over 1.5 hours. My plate arrived with a 3 inch dark hair on top of my home fries. The waitress saw it and said that she would get me a new order of home fries immediately. My husband and daughter's breakfast sandwiches were greasy. A croissant breakfast sandwich doesn't need to have more oil added to it to grill it. They ran out of blueberries for my daughter's blueberry pancake. So it was replaced with 1 slice of French toast cost was $10 The maple syrup wasn't even real but the bill was! It came to almost $100 for barely any food for 2.5 people. Despite the mishaps, the food was sub par at best. It just seems kind of like nasty hotel food. I asked to speak to the manager and waited another 15 minutes for him. He seemed bothered that I was complaining and told me he would see what he could do. I waited another 15 minutes for him to return and when he did he offered me a 15% discount on two of the meals which came to $8 off. And he took the $10 charge off for the 1 piece of french toast that we got in place of the blueberry pancake. Offering us 15% off like it was a grand gesture is really disappointing. Especially while adding another 30 minute wait in order to receive it. That just topped off the whole experience. It seems like there could be an easy fix to not stressing out staff and customers. If a restaurant is running behind due to low staff or an overwhelmed kitchen, then they should have the customers wait longer to get seated. Simple. We would much rather have spend an hour enjoying the town or doing something else. I could hear so many people complaining about the wait. Sadly, the staff seemed stressed. I actually felt bad for our waitress and the staff. We won't be returning to our old favorite restaurant in Sackets Harbor again."

"Food was great. Three of our party of five had a great vegan option on the brunch menu. All were pleased with the quality of the meal and left full some with to go containers). Servers were great. Restaurant was very busy, so it took a while for the meal to come out, but we weren’t in a rush. We enjoyed sitting outside. Noise level inside can be high and it was that afternoon. Highly recommend this for brunch, lunch or dinner. We’ve never been disappointed. I always make a reservation."

"City Dog Cantina in channelside Tampa.We ordered the steak burrito with chips and salsas (2) and grilled pastrami sandwich with seasoned fries for lunch. Have lived channelside for 5 months now but 1st time here for food. Nice indoor/outdoor atmosphere.Unfortunately the burrito was cold including the tortilla and filling. The cheese was totally unmelted. Not much steak. Disappointing.The grilled pastrami sandwich on marbled rye is different here, dill pickles, a mustard sauce and avocado. It was pretty good but the pastrami was almost crisp like bacon. The seasoned fries were odd. A large pile of very dark colored, mini shoestring type potatoes. I mean mini as in most pieces were about an inch and smaller and very thin. Needed a fork for those.It took a long time to get our food. It appeared there was 1 waitress for inside and outside service, we sat outside. There was maybe 5 tables of customers when our waitress said the kitchen was backed up.Probably will not eat here again."

"It feels like this restaurant was somewhat overlooked in its design. Its location is a bit unusual, and the layout on the main floor could use some improvement. However, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. They offer a full bar and a respectable selection of beers. You might even consider it a hidden gem within the larger Marriott hotel. They also serve great coffee and have takeout options for those on the go. Definitely worth a visit!"

"Friendly staff and locals frequent this place, even in the off seasons. We've been in town twice over 3 years and made multiple visits here each time were in town.It's mostly typical diner fare but their hashed browns are pretty solid if you like them cooked to perfection with I think a little bit of butter.Cinnamon rolls are also a solid choice. The omelettes are a good choice you can't go wrong with either.My only 2 heads ups are for coldbrew coffee and avocado people. I was intrigued by the cold brews they mentioned on their specials board. If you ever get cold brew from a coffee shop then you should probably avoid getting it here or your expectations will have you bummed out. I'm fairly certain their cold brew was simply iced coffee with a healthy amount of flavored creamer. At least when. I tried their cinnamon roll cold brew.As for the avocado comment, we came with out little 1 y/os and we try and feed them more basic whole foods including avocado. I was thinking their side of avocado would have been sliced wedges but instead was a little prepacked cup of mashed avocado. Not a huge deal, the kids are it right up but if you were expecting to add avocado to your dishes then be aware in case you were hoping for it in a not mashed form."

"I got a latte that was selicious. My husband got the hot chicken and waffles. He said he didn't really care for the waffle (Belgian style waffle) because it was spongy but the chicken carried the dish because it was so good. When we ordered we were almost the only people in there on a Sunday around 9 am but soon after we ordered it filled up and the line was almost the length of the store! So they must be doing something right! It is a good spot to check out."

"Have you ever heard someone say 'I almost hurt myself ' as in metaphorically speaking? Listen here people I almost hurt myself enjoying this food. I dare not say a competitor 's name while giving a review, but for the life of me there was this French toast at another restaurant that I thought would never in life be topped. Well I be doggone if Highland Bakery easily topped it and is now my favorite place to get french toast. My daughter and I are in agreement that this is the case. The omlet I had was excellent and my daughter kept taking a few bites out of it. Lol. The price is worth the taste. I 'll be visiting again soon."

"Had an awesome day with my eight-year-old today and for lunch we decided to eat at the corner Café. my daughters favorite place )When we came in it was very busy had one table left just for us we had other appointments today and was a little concerned with my time and it being so crowded but the service was excellent, hardly no wait and the food was awesome my eight-year-old absolutely loves the ham and cheese roly-poly! "I’ve been visiting Garden Deli for lunch almost every day while working from home. Despite it often being quite busy during lunchtime, the friendly staff at the counter and checkout always manage to prepare orders and process transactions quickly, so I’m usually in and out within five to ten minutes. Although I haven’t tried the breakfast menu yet, the wraps and salads are consistently fresh. My go-to order is a Soho wrap with chipotle ranch instead of the fat-free regular ranch. It’s a fantastic spot for a quick lunch break if you’re in need of a fast meal to-go."

"Disgusting is being nice. It took over 40 minutes to get our breakfast and when we finally got it it was ice cold. We brought this to the attention of the manager and she was very rude. They took our plates and instead of bringing fresh plates they microwave our meals. Who does that, the French toast was rubbery, the bacon was hard and the once over easy eggs weren’t over easy anymore and the sausage gravy Benny, the English muffin was saggy and the potatoes were mush. After microwaving the cinnamon bun French toast you couldn’t even cut them with a fork . We could not even eat our breakfast I could not believe that they microwave our breakfast to make it hot! The breakfast sandwich we got from Jen Links golf course was 100% better. The only good thing was the ice coffee, the chai tea and the orange juice. We definitely will not be back nor will we recommend . It was absolutely disgusting!!"

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."
