"I try not to leave negative reviews, but this one needed to be shared. I frequently visited this location over the last few months, but no more after yesterday. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. As I?m standing near the coffee station,I notice that of the 4 women behind the counter making orders, one of them was making orders WITHOUT ANY GLOVES ON. I?m lookingat this woman?s bare hands grab bagels from the toaster and rub the crumbs on her apron. Then she proceeds to spread creamcheese on the bagels still without gloves. I?m watching as the 3 other women are all talking around her. No one said a thing orcared at all. I watched the interaction for a bit hoping one of her coworkers would say something to her, but nothing. She justkept making orders with bare hands. I pointed out to the cashier the fact that she was making food without gloves on. It wasonly then the women started screaming ?Nina, Nina no no?. Then they started making the orders over again. I told the cashier Iwas disgusted and didn?t want the bagel anymore. She seemed annoyed that I said that. Didn?t offer me a refund, just a nastyglare. I was so uncomfortable and disgusted that i just left. Won?t be returning."

"After buying from them for 2 1/2 years in spite of their missing or incorrect parts of my orders 60-70% of the time I stopped. Today they made two Incorrect sandwiches, they were aware the order was messed up, didn’t call, nor did they pick up the phone when I called four separate times to get refunded. It required me to go to the store. Which if I had time for I would not be ordering delivery. They refunded my money and I will no longer be dealing with them.I’ve spoken to the manager three different times regarding their incorrect orders and there was improvement for awhile but it reverts back. It’s not worth the aggravation"

"The MANHATTAN BAGEL on SUMMERHILL ROAD in SPOTSWOOD, NJ is a 5-star spot to get bagels. This is without question my go to place for bagels from coast to coast. Although I live in Colorado I quite often visit my family back home in New Jersey, at which timeI am always sure to buy as many bagels as I can fit in my bag. Actually, these bagels are pretty much why I purchased a stand upfreezer, so that I could have bagels accessible where I am now. Even in Denver, the bagels I bought in a bagel shop (a shopwhich claims to have adjusted the mineral content of the water to make it match that of the water in New York), and in myopinion it wasn?t even a good attempt. To add to that the staff are an amazing group that treat me like family. The staff andowner all know and greet me by name when I arrive and not that it matters but, if you forgot my name after a year of not showingup, I would understand, yet that wasn?t the case. The staff they have on board are amazing, which includes MOISES, TINO, JESSI,ARA CELY, LALO, AND PINNA LISSE. I would recommend this bagel shop to anyone looking for good food and good service from goodpeople. RECOMMENDATION: DOWNLOAD THE MANHATTAN BAGEL APPLICATION ON YOUR PHONE FOR QUICK AND EASIER SERVICE"

"We are from out of town, but picked up breakfast for the family we were visiting with. Friendly staff, excellent selection. They offer free slicing of the bagels and went the extra mile to find us some lox that we’re not in the case. The bagels are always so fresh and there is such a huge choice. They have many items other than just bagels. They also have coffee however, I did not buy the coffee there that morning. We have been here before when we visit and I’m sure we will continue to frequent this Noah’s bagel."
