"We've had this restaurant on our list for a while and finally made time to go this evening. The outside is unassuming but cozy and relaxed inside. The food was presented beautifully and reasonably priced by Anchorage standards. Neither of us were blown away by our meals. The pappardelle was decent and well portioned. While the scallops were good, the rest of the dish was rather bland. Ordered the deviled eggs, which were oversalted. Creme brulee was beautiful and very good. Wish we had enjoyed the main dishes more than we did."

"I wanted to try this place, but I got confused. I was misinformed, but I really expected more of an ethnic experience, like what they received in the hoffbraugh house directly above the road. Wasnt expects a top 40 hip hop mix to listen to the sound system and see afteros on the menu. However, the real experience killer was the lack of service and the inappropriate waiting times between ordering and actually getting food and drinks. it was 5:30 and the place was not busy. the table of us had to go into the bar and get their own drinks, as a server had not participated in them. my wife and I just made 1 drinks. I actually had to visit a hostess to request a server. it looks like someone doesn't disturb the load! will not go back soon."

"My boyfriend and I have been visiting Weinlabor for several nights, and it's always a delightful experience that meets our needs perfectly. The wine flights are a joy to explore with their ever-changing selections, and the science-beaker presentation is charming! The staff is consistently attentive, friendly, and quirky – such great personalities! They also feature projected films and have a small bites menu, though we haven't tried it yet. Overall, we're definitely coming back, and we might even consider joining the wine club in the future."
