"Stopped here for lunch today with some friends, total table of 4 kids and 4 adults. The place was mostly empty as it was late lunch time. Service was a bit slow but good overall. Food was decent, the mac and cheese is mediocre, the bbq entrees were good. The main reason this place lost 2 stars overall was because of price and the nickel and diming of things like sodas and side substitutions. Every soda refill was tallied. Also they will charge you 0.75 per topping on a burger. Tomato? 0.75, lettuce? 0.75, etc.. I find this a bit petty and not something I have ever experienced at other restaurants. Overall, I will not go back and i recommend that if you visit this place, be ready to pay up."

"I visit this area once a year and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, as it isn't in the vicinity of my usual work location during my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was; I tried the pork plate with a side of Brunswick stew and baked beans. Our waitress, Tina, was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend stopping by to give them a try."

"The service was not great. I asked about a few entrees and the server made up answers because we ordered based on his description and they were all wrong. When you ask if their are thighs with the chicken and waffles and are told no, you don’t expect to see thighs but there were not one but two!! The server had to he hunted down for the check and again to pay. Water must have been scarce also as our glasses were barely refilled and then only upon request. The same with coffee. We never had an opportunity to order a second drink because of the disappearing server. I don’t see how you can have a time limit when the servers disappear."

"I wasn't impressed by the BBQ meats here, but the smokehouse veggies were so good. If you're vegan or vegetarian you'll notice there aren't a lot of options nearby to eat at so here is a great option. The corn, cauliflower, green beans, slaw, carrots all were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I tried the Caribbean ribs and I didn't understand what about it was Caribbean and I'm West Indian so I know Caribbean spices. Also, the meat was a bit tough and not juicy or fall off the bone BBQ like I thought it would be. The reason this place is getting 4-stars is because the veggies were good, the staff was friendly and it's a great place to hang and play games with friends while enjoying food and drinks."

"Heard rave reviews about this place, so we decided to give it a try tonight and placed an order for pickup. While I was given a 15 minute timeframe, the order was ready faster than that. I ordered the Pretzel Bomb, with Brisket instead of pork, and substituted sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. It came with a choice of creamy or sweet coleslaw; I chose sweet. It also was served with cornbread. The brisket was so soft, it simply melted in my mouth. Delicious! The mac n cheese that came on the sandwich was quite bland, as were the sweet potato fries. The coleslaw was tasty and the cornbread was as well. My suggestions would be to have a cheesier mac n cheese, and add some spices, or even some maple syrup to the sweet potato fries."

"I've visited Brewskeez countless times, and the brisket is absolutely amazing—so tender it melts in your mouth! My favorite servers are Holly and Beth; they're incredibly attentive and always have my go-to drink waiting for me at the table before I even sit down. We also love going on Wednesdays at 7 pm for “Church at the Bar.” It's a unique experience—definitely not preachy at all, but really uplifting with fantastic music! I highly recommend giving it a try!"

"Well I was real excited to try this place. First time I did it was a Saturday night. "The food is quite good, and they offer a nice selection of beers, but the service varies from indifferent to truly terrible. Be prepared to wait a long time without any attention from the staff. The employees are not very friendly either. When your food arrives, it’s simply dropped on the table and the staff quickly disappears without checking in to see how everything is. "Our annual family meetings always use Dickie Do's for the BBQ and everyone loves it. Last week I was in Haw River and decided to stop for taking orders. I have not recognized (as I do not usually dine-in or order individual meals to go here) that no lateral container of the BBQ sauce is placed with togo orders or offered when placing the order (I went inside to place order). Once at home and ready to eat to realize NO sauce, I called to ask. Was informed about a sauce station that was not offered or mentioned during the order. That would be nice to know to take orders.
