"After reading Yelp reviews, I was braced for poor service. When our party arrived, we were seated immediately, though we were taken to a high top table and we specifically requested a low top in the reservation it was an option presented when making the reservation. Thankfully there was a low top table, though it was the first table inside the front door that could have seated people for the three of us. Fortunately it was not a bitter cold night and the openclose of the door was not an issue. The table next to us was the same size and at capacity, thus the noise level. I asked about a Manhattan that is listed on the menu currently on the restaurant's website. I was told that they don't have the ingredients to make a Manhattan and they just changed their drink menu. Protip...If a bar does not have bourbon, bitters and vermouth all of the time, it is not a real bar or it does not employ a trained bar tender. Since the concept of a Manhattan was foreign to our server, to be safe, I ordered a beer that couldn't be screwed up. We also noticed that Messy Chips listed on the menu online have been substituted with fries. They were ok but the sandwich entrees also come with fries as a side our meals were a little heavy on the fries. It felt like the menu didn't have enough range and variety especially because we were expecting some items listed on the menu published on the website. I chose the Hot Chicken SandwhichKnoxville Mild because it came with slaw, pickle and pimento cheese. I think my sandwhich had pickle chip, shreds of slaw and a scant schmeer of pimento cheese. The bun was way too bready. Someone else got the tenders which were extra large and a good value. If I return, I would just get tenders since the ecoutrement advertised with the sandwhich was so sparse and barely noticeable. Cincinnati seems to have a lot of chicken restaurants and FieryHen was ok but nothing remarkable"
