"My boyfriend and I decided to give this little place a try after reading a single Google review. This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food was hot and fresh, the service was impeccable even though there was not a single empty seat. Our waiter, Cristiano, was incredible. He was very attentive and had suggestions for every course. He also makes the BEST espresso martini. 10/10 recommend going here over any other place in the North End."

"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."

"Nice place. Nothing special or fancy. Food was amazing. Waiter was good at first then just disappeared. Very disappointing. When he did return we asked for the dessert menu. Again he said right away. And again he was gone. Waited about 15 minutes for him to realize he forgot to get us a menu. So we just asked for the check. So disappointed. Really ruined a nice night. But the food was amazing."

First of this is truly Italian restaurant, which means, the food is well prepared, light and delicious, even when you have 4 courses dinner. This has been our experience with LaBocca. But good place doesn’t end with delicious food, but it come s with great ambience, lighting and perfect music. Most of all wonderful wonderful owner and executive chef, Gioacchino D’Angelo, and his staffs who treats you like a family, smiles, warm and respectful. We recommend this restaurant strongly without any reservation. The price is very reasonable and if you are early bird you even can have a better deals 3 days a week. "Something different about this location. The Regina's at the station, quincy market and malls are not even in the same ball park as far of quality and taste good. If you go here if it's dinner time on a weekend you will wait for unto an hour. Is it worth it. There is always a security bouncer so they will let you in. Everything you can order will knock your socks off. It's a historic building so it's small and cramped but cool."
