"This is an excellent takeout bagel shop! My son-in-law claims that it's changed his perspective on all other bagels— they're just that good! The bagels arrive hot, so there's no need to toast them. Although there's usually a line out the door, you can generally get your order in just 10-15 minutes. The staff is fast, friendly, and always ready with a tease or a joke. The egg and cheese on an everything bagel was fantastic!"

"After a busy night filled with activities, we stumbled upon this restaurant. It was late, and it was one of the few places still open during the twilight hours. The food was delicious, especially after having eaten very little throughout the day. The portion sizes were above average, and considering the price, it was a decent deal. The service was good, though it was a bit slow; however, given the late hour, we didn’t mind too much. Surprisingly, the restaurant became quite busy even at that time. It feels like a classic diner where you can always find good food."

"I am not very particular when it comes to food, but I was hungry and looking for a satisfying meal, only to leave feeling disappointed. Typically, if I have a bad experience at a restaurant, I am willing to give it another try, but I don't think I will be returning to this place. The staff seemed disinterested and did not provide good service. We ordered the famous queso appetizer for $6, but it was the smallest portion of queso I have ever seen, and it was mostly sausage rather than cheese. Additionally, we came specifically for the ribs, as I had heard they were excellent here. However, when we tried to order them, we were informed that they were unavailable. It would have been helpful to know this before we sat down, especially since it is a popular item on the menu. I ended up ordering the double shrimp pasta instead, and while the flavors were decent, the shrimp was severely overcooked. As a shrimp enthusiast, this made the dish very unappetizing for me."

"Consistency is key. No matter when you go, no matter how busy they are, you always get great food and great service. Omelets are awesome, corned beef hash is awesome, beignets are awesome. I always say I’m going to try lunch food sometime, but I get there and just want a yummy omelet. It’s a fairly smallish place and is popular, so if you go at a peak time you may have to wait, but it’s always worth it. Fair prices even with recent small increases and friendly staff that are quick to refill drinks. Best breakfast in the area!"

"Great steaks with little to no wait. This restaurant is one of the gems in the area. They generally have great service (it’s always at least good service). The steaks are seasoned and cooked very well. The sides are really good and original. Don’t pass on the salad, they make them right. The last time I went, I got the snapper blackened and was not disappointed!"

"You left the extra mile! Not often wait employees go out of the way, but our staff at the Ground Round went beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, but was overtaken by the staff. I've never been on duty as I had tonight and I'll definitely come back. Had the chickens tortilla soup and the extraordinary chocolate spoon cake. Forget to make a photo of the cake, what was it worth saving space!"

"Mostly good, some bad. The variety and selection of food is outstanding: I can get the type of meals that used to exist in ordinary restaurants 40 years ago but seem to have all disappeared elsewhere, such as meatloaf, a chili size Harley Burger , patty melts, spaghetti, omelettes, waffles, sides of corn, cottage cheese, and a simple tasty iceberg lettuce salad instead of the front lawn weed and crabgrass salad that most restaurants have today. Amazing and huge desserts. After over 15 years I have never been disappointed in the quality of the food here, not once. The staff is friendly and always gets my order right. Prices are very reasonable for what you get, especially compared to other restaurants that don 't have the variety of food here. The one disappointment isn 't the food, staff, or prices: it 's the noise of inconsiderate customers. Unless you 're here M F around 3:30pm, when there 's usually a lull between the lunch and evening crowd, you will have parents not controlling their loudly howling infants or their kids banging silverware, or people talking loudly on their phone, sometimes with the speaker on. That may ok for McDonalds, Chuck E. Cheese, and the like, but it is hard to justify spending $20+ for a meal you expected to enjoy but instead was ruined by inconsiderate people. This can be mitigated somewhat by choosing where you sit but seating is somewhat tight."

"Im not a "review" kind of person so dont take this one with a grain of salt. I made it a point to come here and do it. I read the previous reviews and like everyone else I value my money. I saw the menu and thought it was kind of pricey. I thought "well for this price it better be worth it". And BOYYY IT WAS! I got the Ribfeast with mac&cheese and baked beans. The ribs were A1 and not dry at all. Seasoned to perfection with sauce on the side! The baked beans were literally the besttttt I ever had from a business! Its always usually pinto beans full of bbq sauce, hard meat, nasty meat, no seasoning, discolored or straight up from a can! These were BOMB! Definitely made with love!! The green onions, the slow cooked meat, literally theyre perfect and sold me into coming back! The macaroni in my opinion wasnt the best bc it was essentially spiral noodles topped with melted cheese but that doesnt deter me a bit. Ill just get a different side next time or double baked beans lol !! I had sauce, silverware and wet wipes. It wasnt thrown together. To have a to-go order served as if you were dining in is rare. Im from north Florida and Ive been craving good bbq. Ive tried a few places and havent been satisfied but I struck gold with this place! I told my coworkers about my experience and they recommended the smoked wings. I will be dining in with my family soon. It was so good."

"Totally a Michigan diner located on Dix Hwy. Easy to find and ok food. Parking isn’t easy but not a big deal. I had the country fried steak, and unfortunately the gravy was ice cold. "Located in Salem Kitchen on Miller St between Cloverdale Ave Stratford Rd right beside Publix. They provide dine in table service (inside or outside), take out delivery. Even short staffed they r quick, efficient, friendly, up beat provide great customer service. They offer burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, fries, hot chips, pasta salad a large variety of delicious homemade ice creams, shakes sundaes. I ordered a pimento cheese burger (which was the best burger I've had in a long time) fries a pineapple milkshake (sooooo good). I only had to wait approx 15mins after placing my takeout order it only cost me about $16 (completely worth it)! I definitely recommend this place!"

"we have made an online reservation when we arrived, we were told that we cannot make reservations online and we had to wait 45 minutes. I love old chicago, but this device has great problems. I'll go at least three times a month and I'll be asked to wait each time. every time I'm here, there are many other guests waiting for many tables to sit unoccupied. they are very slow in cleaning tables and then get people sitting in them. that's by far the worst old chicago I had."
