"With a few changes, this could be a really good Italian dining spot. The pasta was al dente, the marinara sauce was really good. However, the addition of RAW, minced garlic in EVERYTHING (except salad) was most unwelcome. Raw garlic is nasty. It should be well roasted before being added to anything else that has been cooked. Either that or serve it on the side. The gnocci my husband ordered was gummy. The pesto sauce tasted like it contained mint. Weird. The fresh made bread was typical sliced Italian bread, not so fresh. Infused olive oil on the table was nice. On the up side, the restaurant was clean, the service was attentive and efficient. Wine and beer choices are very limited. This restaurant is fairly new, so some slack must be given, however, significant changes should be made."

"Plain cheese pizza way too greasy and undercooked. It pooled in the center and we took turns making napkins disappear, we even made a cloth napkin see through! We took home leftovers and threw them out. Also a bummer when it's hot outside and hot and old inside. Staff was a delight though!! Highlight of the meal. This place is the Italian restaurant equivalent of a nice dive bar? Make sense lol. First time there, won't be back."

"We drove two hours to my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We were hoping to sit outside and watch the freighters go by. The outside deck was closed and that was sad as it was such a beautiful day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our waiter Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best part of our dining experience. We won't be back as the food was only fair and a disappointment. There were several options, but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were tough, the eggs benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made from canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband liked the waffles, roast beef, ham, and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't great but we wanted to eat outside so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"A week ago, I got a pasta dish here and ended up getting sick from it. Today, my coworkers wanted to order pizza, so we placed a simple order: half with bacon and pepperoni with light sauce, and the other half with tomato, olives, and spinach. When the pizza arrived, the entire pie was loaded with bacon and pepperoni. We called them, and they made a new pizza, but they still didn’t add the olives, and instead of fresh tomatoes, they put a strange tomato sauce on top. After giving them two chances within an hour, it felt like they were more interested in being difficult than providing good customer service. You could tell the first pizza was fresh, but the remake seemed like a “we don’t have time for you” pizza. I was willing to give them a second chance after getting sick from the pasta, but after three attempts, I won’t be coming back."

"a fair warning to anyone who is thinking about coming here to be prepared to be insanely sick. i’ve come here two times and within both experiences both me and my boyfriend have gotten extremely sick. i never leave reviews but when you are risking someone’s health people have the right to know. i hate to bash but i am genuinely curious as to how to guys pass health inspection? i’m sorry to say i do not think this place deserves the time of day i have a huge concern on how they keep their food and where it comes from. i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and wanted to think they just had a bad day or a bad batch but when i gave them another chance i got hit 10x harder with food poisoning. the first time i ordered the turkey hoagie (typing this makes me want to gag) and the second time which was yesterday i ordered the buffalo wings and when i tell you they will never see my face again, i mean that very strongly. i was in terrible pain and i can say i have had a few food poisoning experiences throughout my life so i say this with confidence i tell you that this was by far the worst experience. i was on the verge of debating the hospital because i was unable to get any relief from the second i got home from work 7pm all the way to 5am. i really hope i get my word across with this and am able to help finalize peoples decisions when choosing where to eat."

"Hard to get a good read on this place. People in the area seem to like it. Figured we would see what the deal was this past Sunday. The food was decent but let's be real, people don't go out to eat for the food; they go out for the experience, including the atmosphere but more importantly the service. As myself and the two other individuals I was with have all worked inthe service industry ourselves, we have a higher tolerance for less than stellar service than those who have not had theexperience. Service here was far below adequate. It's never good when poor service ruins the entire experience. Could have justbeen an off night for the server, or may be they haven't been trained well, maybe a mix of both. I am guessing the server wasn'tnew as they seemed comfortable sitting at a table for a few minutes with other guests while they stepped away to get the gratedcheese for us, sadly it never arrived. Best of luck to any future patrons who might read this prior to visiting Brazi's."

"My daughter and friends dined for her 16th birthday and had a great time together. Their server was the sweetest and took good care of them and they all said it was delicious."

"Found this hidden jewel because I couldn?t get in the restaurant I planned to visit. The Penne a la vodka turned out to be the highlight of my day. It?s the best pasta I?ve ever had in the past 3 years and it definitely showed me the true form of comfort food. I?ve never found myself smiling nonstop from the second pasta was served. Definitely recommend the pasta. Tiramisu was not too sweet, super moist and flavorful, perfect match with the extra foamy cappuccino served with perfect amount of ground cinnamon on top. Do not miss out on the dessert!!"

"Excellent all around. It was a busy Saturday night and we were seated right away (lucky for us as the place was packed). Service was prompt and friendly and the food was excellent. For apps we ordered Polpette (meatballs) and lobster Raviolli portionsizes were just right. The Arctic Char fish and Lamb Parppadelle were our main courses everything tasted fresh and good. Thehousemade bread was one of my favorite things all night warm, soft, pillowy, cloudy fresh out the oven goodness. We dipped itin all the sauces as we ate. I'll go back even just for that bread. Atmosphere was chill and classy but not stuffy often atough balance to achieve. Great job Strega ????????????????"

"Strega Italiano Back Bay in Boston is delicious Italian food with a 5 star service. I felt really fancy when I ate here. The server made us feel special. He accommodated the menu when he could to perfect our expectations and experience. They checked in on my group throughout the whole service. My group traditionally started the meal with splitting appetizers. The standout of the meal was the wedding soup. It was super yummy! The soup was enriched with flavorable meatballs, diced up vegetables, and define pasta. I also got the polpette too. The polpette was delicious beef and pork meatballs that were tossed with pomodoro sauce. This appetizers is definitely big enough to split with a few folks. The group got salumie formaggi grand board too. The charcuterie board was customisable to our group's palette of cheses and meat. Everything tasted really fresh and catered to our liking. The bread of table was really delicious too. Cavetelli salsicca was my main dish of the meal. It was a pasta enriched dish with sweet Italian sausage and brocceli rabe. The pasta had a white sauce that wasn't of my liking. Upon requesting, the service was able to swap the white sauce for a new mariana sauce. This accommodation saved the dish for me. The red sauce really highlighted the heat from the sweet Italian sausage. The bathrooms are really clean here too. Overall everything was really maintained ordered. The meal and service were a five star meal that deserves all its attention."

"I ordered the Burrito bowl and it was disgusting. It was basically a bean water dish. There were barley of any rice that for 12$ should have been the base of the bowl not evil bean water. You should call this a bean soup with a sprinkle of everything else with a bunch of cheese on the top. Definitely not worth 12-13$. The amount of liquid in this cow?"

"Steak was good prime angus beef cooked the way I asked. Salmon was dry though. Waitress forgot to give us the specials until we asked and didn't come by often to check if we needed anything, when I did. Very crowded and and noisy setting if you are looking for a setting more personal."

"I am on a business trip in NJ and as with most trips to NJ, going to an Italian restaurant is usually on the menu and a safe bet. I should have known better when we walked in on the dirty industrial floor runner. The table tops are granite with chips off the edges, the service is okay, and the food is average at best. I had their version of Past Fagioli, which was a watered down tomato broth, ditalini, and beans. I had to ask for cheese as it was not offered or on the table. I ordered the clams and linguini, which was reasonably fresh and with a mound of pasta The surrounding are minimal and basic era. Frankly, the place looks like an old fast food joint that is trying to be a restaurant and not a pleasurable place to be for the evening."
Pizzeria
"Via Napoli Pizzeria is one of my favorites low-key. The younger girls that work there were outstanding. They served my fiance and I one day for lunch. They have a single bathroom which was very clean. Right next to the Chinese buffet Napoli's Pizzeria is located. A good amount of parking spots. They also have seating for customers. The staff were masked and gloves and cleaned the tables. They have a tv hanging in the store if you want to eat and watch television. It wasn't too crowded. I plan on going back again for a late lunch. I think you should check this pizzeria out. You will be satisfied. Trust me!"

"Neighborhood pizzeria that is home for many. I've ordered here multiple times and have gotten to know the owner and his team at Vinnie's pizzeria. Excellent food especially their thin crust pizza pies. Wraps, subs, sandwiches, pasta are all excellentchoices as well. What's also excellent is their service. The owner is a local business owner that I've seen great relationshipswith other businesses, local police and organizations that support his business and enjoy their service food. If you'rearound the Bloomfield area or just passing by, definitely order here and try out their pizzas. Currently, it is take out onlybut it is worth the order!"

"Now, about the food. The garlic knots came fresh but lacked any sauce. While the knots themselves were tasty, butter or sauce would have made them much better—a hint of what was to come, it seemed. It felt like they were cutting corners from the start. When it came time to take our orders, they only asked for salad selections first, rather than taking the full meal orders all at once. This meant the server had to make multiple trips around the room. It was confusing and inefficient. As for the pasta? Yikes. It was clearly old and merely reheated. I suspect it had been sitting in the fridge for at least three days—something I recognize from my time working in a restaurant. They must have chosen this as a cost-saving measure for catering. I forked a penne noodle, and it split apart with no effort at all. The flavor matched that of leftover pasta—seriously, how hard is it to make fresh pasta for 35 people? On a quiet Sunday, it would take just a large pot of boiling water and eight minutes to cook some. It seemed ridiculous to use leftover food from earlier in the week for a catering gig. The chicken parm was also clearly old, breaded days prior. You could tell it was overcooked, with large air pockets when served, making it dry and unappetizing. It’s disappointing when someone pays what they perceive to be a good amount for decent food, and they receive something that resembles cafeteria fare. I recommend steering clear of this place. For just a bit more, you could dine at La Famiglia or somewhere comparable. The restaurant earned two stars solely because the service staff was working incredibly hard. However, the manager or owner seemed indifferent to our event."
