"a fair warning to anyone who is thinking about coming here to be prepared to be insanely sick. i’ve come here two times and within both experiences both me and my boyfriend have gotten extremely sick. i never leave reviews but when you are risking someone’s health people have the right to know. i hate to bash but i am genuinely curious as to how to guys pass health inspection? i’m sorry to say i do not think this place deserves the time of day i have a huge concern on how they keep their food and where it comes from. i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and wanted to think they just had a bad day or a bad batch but when i gave them another chance i got hit 10x harder with food poisoning. the first time i ordered the turkey hoagie (typing this makes me want to gag) and the second time which was yesterday i ordered the buffalo wings and when i tell you they will never see my face again, i mean that very strongly. i was in terrible pain and i can say i have had a few food poisoning experiences throughout my life so i say this with confidence i tell you that this was by far the worst experience. i was on the verge of debating the hospital because i was unable to get any relief from the second i got home from work 7pm all the way to 5am. i really hope i get my word across with this and am able to help finalize peoples decisions when choosing where to eat."

"Strega Italiano Back Bay in Boston is delicious Italian food with a 5 star service. I felt really fancy when I ate here. The server made us feel special. He accommodated the menu when he could to perfect our expectations and experience. They checked in on my group throughout the whole service. My group traditionally started the meal with splitting appetizers. The standout of the meal was the wedding soup. It was super yummy! The soup was enriched with flavorable meatballs, diced up vegetables, and define pasta. I also got the polpette too. The polpette was delicious beef and pork meatballs that were tossed with pomodoro sauce. This appetizers is definitely big enough to split with a few folks. The group got salumie formaggi grand board too. The charcuterie board was customisable to our group's palette of cheses and meat. Everything tasted really fresh and catered to our liking. The bread of table was really delicious too. Cavetelli salsicca was my main dish of the meal. It was a pasta enriched dish with sweet Italian sausage and brocceli rabe. The pasta had a white sauce that wasn't of my liking. Upon requesting, the service was able to swap the white sauce for a new mariana sauce. This accommodation saved the dish for me. The red sauce really highlighted the heat from the sweet Italian sausage. The bathrooms are really clean here too. Overall everything was really maintained ordered. The meal and service were a five star meal that deserves all its attention."

"Now, about the food. The garlic knots came fresh but lacked any sauce. While the knots themselves were tasty, butter or sauce would have made them much better—a hint of what was to come, it seemed. It felt like they were cutting corners from the start. When it came time to take our orders, they only asked for salad selections first, rather than taking the full meal orders all at once. This meant the server had to make multiple trips around the room. It was confusing and inefficient. As for the pasta? Yikes. It was clearly old and merely reheated. I suspect it had been sitting in the fridge for at least three days—something I recognize from my time working in a restaurant. They must have chosen this as a cost-saving measure for catering. I forked a penne noodle, and it split apart with no effort at all. The flavor matched that of leftover pasta—seriously, how hard is it to make fresh pasta for 35 people? On a quiet Sunday, it would take just a large pot of boiling water and eight minutes to cook some. It seemed ridiculous to use leftover food from earlier in the week for a catering gig. The chicken parm was also clearly old, breaded days prior. You could tell it was overcooked, with large air pockets when served, making it dry and unappetizing. It’s disappointing when someone pays what they perceive to be a good amount for decent food, and they receive something that resembles cafeteria fare. I recommend steering clear of this place. For just a bit more, you could dine at La Famiglia or somewhere comparable. The restaurant earned two stars solely because the service staff was working incredibly hard. However, the manager or owner seemed indifferent to our event."
