"Excellent food and service at Jimmy?s! We ate there the other night and Autumn was an absolute gem. This is one of the best restaurants in Tarpon Springs for quality Italian American and Greek dishes. Their saganaki- flaming Greek halloumi cheese is the best I?ve eaten in Tarpon Springs. I highly recommend their homemade lasagna as it?s absolutely divine and a great value dish. It?s impossible to make a better lasagna. I also recommend their homemade cheesecake with raspberry purée for dessert as it?s also excellent. Fellow customers were raving to us about the pizzas, which are also very popular as Jimmy?s makes the dough in house. Ask for recommendations and select what?s made in house, as it?s prepared with love. I can?t wait to return to try one of their delicious looking pizzas!"

"The food was outstanding! We had a baby spinach salad with strawberries and candied pecans—so good that it was perfect for sharing among three people. The New York strip loin, paired with a delicious peppercorn sauce, was fantastic. The prime rib was incredibly tender and flavorful, offering a generous portion. The seafood crisp, packed with crab and shrimp, was a treat to share—absolutely delicious. Both the food and service were exceptional. We just wish we had discovered this restaurant at the beginning of our vacation instead of at the end, so we could have gone back multiple times."

"The third time in this place. After two previous visits, which were absolutely terrible, I chose 3 strikes and they are deleted forever. Our server was Cynthia. She was professional, knew the dishes on the menu and immediately placed our appetizer, in which was a big plus. Now I know when I go back (yes, I will visit again, only the difference is the time of the day will change to make sure the staff is different. My first visit was just after the move here last summer. The fried shrimps had not so good taste. The second visit, "My appetizer did not come out until I was ready to go. When I decided I wouldn't come back. This visit was great. Shrimp had an excellent fresh taste, the only difference was that they were filled with crab meat. The shrimps were nicely fried and I love their Koleslawin. The roasted Okra was also delicious."

"I ordered a combination of fried shrimp and oysters. When the order arrived, there were 4 small oysters on a pile of shrimp. The shrimp was okay, the oysters tasted like they had sit on the dock all day, weren’t even remotely close to be considered fresh. The iced tea had a weird taste as well. Disappointing that for an $18 plate, the 2 hush puppies were the star. I have eaten at most of the Mayflower locations throughout many years, and consider this one to be the absolute worst. My wife and I spent $60 for a $20 meal. A gas station hotdog and bag of chips would have been more satisfying. Not sure if they were having a bad night as there were other guests complaining as we were eating. Hopefully the manager will read this review and make adjustments that resolve whatever issues that we encountered."

"If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would. First of all, it took an incredibly long time to receive anything. The service was painfully slow. The dish I ordered was terrible; it was just a bowl of soup with no flavor whatsoever. Considering the price, it simply wasn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The appetizer took ages to arrive and we ended up getting it at the same time as our main course."

"I have eaten inside as well as takeout and both experiences were excellent. The oysters were fresh and cold perfect size. Clam chowder is amazing, plenty of tender clams. Everybody who works there has a great attitude and very friendly. If you sit at the bar, you can throw your oyster shells in a huge metal sink located right behind the bar counter, it’s a different experience."

"My husband and I went into Mayflower and the first thing I notice was the sanitation rating was 90 . The individual that was working didn 't speak, walked up to counter, grab the pad where you right down the order and drew a big X on the order sheet, then he looks at me, and then I give my order. I am a manager of a retail store and I know the importance of acknowledging our customers and at least making them feel like a customer. I don 't think I will be eating here again. Great customer service goes a long ways especially when you have a 90 as sanitation grade."

"They really enjoy the sea trout and the delicate prawns. The decor is great as well. I also appreciated the clean, fresh atmosphere of Kevin's place! My only complaint is that the smoking area attracts a lot of cigarette smoke, even at the entrance when the door opens. We should encourage people to be more respectful and use proper disposal containers for their butts. This took away from the experience and gave off a vibe of an old tavern filled with drunks. Aesthetic appeal is essential for a high rating. I wonder what the health department would think of this? Smokers can be considerate too, but let’s help Kevin’s Corner Cafe thrive."

"Not one to leave bad reviews, as many small, local businesses thrive on word-of-mouth? but here goes; The restaurant is cute, well-presented. But it was absolutely freezing! Our (male) server was very un-attentive, having to ask for water refills and wasn?t until 45 minutes into our 2.5 hour wait, did we receive our app, then fresh bread, then salads. Then an hour after that did we get our entrees. The only other waiter was great and she made sure we were getting our items. It is made-to-order style, which is nice and different from American ways, but if you are looking for a prompt meal, this is NOT your place. It is very LONG to get ANYTHING. Most important- the food. We are huge foodies and enjoy finding unique places to eat, needless to say, it isn?t great, only ok at best. However, my sons lobster special was delicious. The wait would have been worth it if the food was a knock-out. Disappointing that the food was not very good for the price and wait. Sorry, just won?t be back, but wish y?all the best!"

"First time visiting the Fisherman's Galley and it was quite the treat for my wife and I. They opened at 3 p.m. and we arrived shortly after 3 to almost a full parking lot. Upon entering we were met by the cashiers at the takeout counter who didn't say a word. As we went through the doors we passed another cashier who didn't speak as well. So immediately I'm wondering if we came to the right place seeing the people weren't as friendly. We were seated at a booth and everything was clean and the lighting was perfect. We were greeted by a very friendly and charismatic waitress by the name of Ruth. She was so kind and friendly. We started with the cheese sticks which was very delicious and for our entree my wife ordered the flounder platter with fried oysters and baked potato and I had the catfish platter with scallops and popcorn shrimp. It was so much food. We knew right away that we would not be able to eat it all. Ruth continued to check on our table as we ate and enjoyed one another's company. The food was nice and hot and too much for my stomach to hold. It's well worth the money. You get what you pay for and a whole lot more. If you're looking for some seafood and great service be sure to check out the fisherman's galley. Tell them you want to sit where Ruth is the server. I would have given it five Stars had we been greeted with smiles. Still I would highly recommend this place for a family outing for you and that special someone."

"For over two decades, we've celebrated about 95% of the significant moments in my family's lives at this restaurant. The food has consistently been outstanding, and I make sure to grab a jar of their house dressing every chance I get. My top choice is the Chilean sea bass, followed closely by the farfalle, mahi mahi, and linguine aglio e olio. My dad can’t resist the prime rib chop, while my sister often opts for the filet mignon, either the garlic-crusted or marsala style, and my mom enjoys the New York strip. The cocktails and desserts are fantastic, and the table bread is simply delightful. I can't say enough good things about the staff—everyone is warm and welcoming. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place—11 out of 10!"
