"We enjoyed our experience in Keith Young?s Steakhouse. I made a last minute reservation by Open Table. We arrived a few minutes early and sat right away. Our waiter arrived shortly after and started running through the menu. Fresh hot bread was served while we looked at our first selections. The wine selection was really good. In particular, there is a wide range of red and whiskeys. For beginners we enjoyed the Calamari and the tomato soup. The soup was particularly interesting because it was not sour and had a nice roasted tomato taste. For entrees we had redfish, carved veal and crab meat au gratin. The redfish was very fresh. The crab and sauce complemented the fish well. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The crab and calf dishes were enjoyed. The proportion of veins was considerable. We added a page of roared tomatoes. They were bribed with Parmesan and Crustini crumbs, which were beautifully paired with the fish. For dessert we had bread pudding, raspberry sorbet and chocolate mousse. The sorbet had an incredibly intense raspberry taste very good. The bread pudding was decadent, and the mousse was sweet and creamy. The service was top notch. Our waiter was friendly and informative. The worrying staff ensured that our waters were always filled and that the table was unlimited. The owner walked around and met us when we were done, he was very nice and personal. The Maitre d? remembered wishing me a happy birthday when we stepped out what underlined the extraordinary attention to detail. This is definitely one of the best restaurants on the north coast."

"I'm from Indiana and this was my first visit to Nolan's...my boyfriend insisted that he had to take me. We started off with a very welcoming greeting by Marshall. We ordered two lemon drop martinis which were absolutely fantastic. We then decided that since we were having dessert that we would share a meal, as we usually do because we both don't eat a whole lot. We decided on the Captain's Platter...for starters the shrimp cocktail (one shrimp for each) was perfect and very tasty. The platter came out and presentation was superb. The filet was placed on a bed of sautéed mushrooms, while the lobster tail was placed onto a shredded bed of lettuce complimented with mashed potatoes and butter. When I took the first bite of the filet I seriously had melted and gone to this very beautiful place...my tastebuds were so taken back by how tender, flavorful, and magical this was. I'd never had a filet like this before. We ordered it medium rare which was cooked to perfection! The lobster was very juicy and dipping into the melted butter was very tasty. The mashed potatoes were absolutely amazing! The garlic and creamy taste was pure ecstasy! I had never tasted any potatoes like this ever. Marshall checked in on us and he was an absolute delight. Very attentive, friendly, and at times quite humorous. Definitely would go back to see him and enjoy his kindness and laughter. Lastly we ordered dessert...Marshall gave us the rundown and we chose the Creme brûlée. I honestly have never had a brûlée as exuberantly delicious as this one! The chocolate cup it was served in added an extra special layer to this already amazingly appetizing, palatable sweet! Overall I can't even describe anymore how much I enjoyed this restaurant and it's staff. The woman who I believe was the manager came out and asked how we were which was a lovely touch to our already wonderful experience. Thank you so much for my first visit to Nolan's which was a very welcoming and delectable time a very special and memorable one."

"We entered downstairs at 6:30. We were told we 'd have a better chance of being seated upstairs in the pub, so we did that. We ordered beverages (2 waters, one beer) around 6:35 and then ordered our meals (potato skin appetizer, beef stew special, burger special, grilled chicken sandwich) a few minutes later when our drinks arrived (around 6:40). At 7:10, after watching tables who came in after us get multiple rounds of drinks and even their entrees, I asked our server where the appetizer was. He said it 'd be out in a minute. At 7:15, we were served overcooked (dark and crispy) but cold potato skins. While we were eating these, the server came back to say that they 'd just sold out of the burger special and we had to choose something different. My friend ordered a different burger. At 7:45, we still didn 't have our entrees. My husband went and found the waiter and explained we had an 8 pm concert to attend, asking where our food was. Our food was brought to us at 7:50, a full hour and 10 minutes after we placed our order. The chicken sandwich was completely charred and the burger that was ordered medium-rare was well done. During that whole wait time, the waiter never came back to refill drinks. We left the restaurant at 8:05. It is unbelievable that other tables were in and out faster than it took us to get a simple appetizer. This waiter needs major training. It 's clear he didn 't put our order in when he took it. We were late to the concert we paid good money to see due to his ineptitude. We will not be stepping foot in this restaurant again."
