"We began our meal with bread and Mediterranean olive relish. The brussel sprout appetizer was a delicious choice, made with capers, salt pork, and onions. The Chicken Parmigiana was the standout dish of the night, served on a platter and enough to share. It had a lightly breaded and blistered cheese topping. Unfortunately, the Lamb Shank was not available so we opted for the Filet, which was good but served on a cold plate and the asparagus was literally chilled. The wine selection was good. Overall, we were impressed and will likely return the next time we are in the area."

"The food is great BUT… The last few times I’ve been here, there are servers at the bar with laptops taking up customer space. They use chemicals to spray down silverware at the bar right next to customers eating (HORRIBLE). Today was the finalstrike for me, the rude bartender handed me my food and dine instared me w/o saying a word. When I grabbed the grated cheese jarin front of me, I immediately noticed a bug in the jar: I told the bartender and he took the jar from me an inspected it as if Iwas lying. Once he saw the bug he put the jar on the table behind him, instead of throwing it away. He then grabbed another jarand handed it to me saying ‘this one is bug free’ with a laugh that didn’t sit right with me. I’m so disappointed inDoro’s for this because I love the food here and the managers that are always here when I’m here where not working today, orelse I promise it would have been handled differently. Now I hope to find another Italian restaurant that I like close to home.Also, servers/bartenders walking around eating in front of customers is not a good look."

"My wife and I enjoyed an exquisite dining experience this afternoon. Cappuccino has a relaxing, serene ambience . My wife had Chicken Milanese and a house salad with their creamy Italian dressing. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The angel hair pasta was delicate and tasty. I had the special of the day, Blackened salmon as well as the soup of the day, Lentil soup. The salmon was absolutely delicious and moist and the broccoli was beautifully and lightly steamed. The fettuccine was light and tender. The soup developed such incredibly subtle flavors. We have dined here scores of times and each occasion is a memorable, fun meal. The servers are personable, professional, and responsive to the diner's needs. Cappuccino is a gem!"

"The best Italian food in michigan hands down. A bit pricey for your average meal so we tend to reserve it for anniversaries and birthdays and other special occasions. Top notch service and lovely ambiance and atmosphere. They have sound baffling in the rafters of the building to prevent it from being so loud even when the restaurant is full of patrons. . I'm pretty sure the pasta is handmade and not dried before cooking. It has this lovely soft quality to it. So even if they don't hand make the pasta in house they get it handmade. My husband had the gnnochi and it was pillowy soft and lovely. As always the apetizer bread is delicious. Like a mini Italian bread loaf."

"Everything was fantastic. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is the location. As a covid conscious individual, outdoor dining is important to me. So while there is outside dining, the location is next to a gas station and behind an office supply company.The food was fantastic. I got a veggie soup to start out with and shared a side of calamari. After that I treated myself to a delicious grilled salmon dish on top of some sweet Yukon potatoes."

"1st off the service was amazing! We had an awesome lady taking care of us. I am a huge foodie! I wasn't expecting too much in a small town like this, but it was actually pretty good. The best part were the appetizers, you could tell they were fresh and the calamari is probably some of the best I've ever had including overseas. So having that appetizer had me really stoked for the entrée... Then it died. I had the sausage with the marinara and pasta. The sausage was dry, the pasta obviously was not homemade... Which can be fine if everything else is on point... But it just wasn't. I make better marinara sauce at home with Italian tomatoes. I would definitely go back for appetizers though, no question! Would I go back and try another dish, it's a good possibility... But I wouldn't sit at the 2 seat table in the bar area against the wall that wobbles and has a huge table right next to it where you can't even hear your partner talking."

"I'm not a huge fan of Italian, but my friend wanted to go and I remembered that a coworker also recommended this place. The menu is small, but each dish appears to be pretty unique and different. The dish that I ordered (I don't remember the name) was perfectly al dente! It came with shrimp that was cooked perfectly! Their dishes may seem simple, but they're extremely filling. Normally I finish my plate plus more, but I couldn't finish my plate here!! Great customer"

"I often give 2nd chances if I believe improvement is possible. My first visit was terrible but this time was much different. The people were very nice, the food was better and the service was good. I got a Marghareta Pizza and liked the thin crust, zesty flavor and a good mozarella. Bumped my rating up a star. Tampa Bay Restaurant Week. Ava I had the prix fixe meal for $35. It was a bad experience, this place has to be better than what I encountered. The service was bad and some of the food was terrible. My bread was burnt, old and cold, I tried to eat it but couldn't. I was talked into the Cavatelli and it just made my mouth unhappy, the fennel sausage was awful. The Meatballs were good, very tender and tasty. The Tiramisu was just average. Again, I must re-iterate how bad the service was. I felt unwanted and like I was a bother. My meatballs were actually tossed on to my table. Funny, she got really sweet when she handed me the check."

"I was really looking forward to tonight. I worked at PastaVino with some of the best. So many memories. I wasn't thrilled with the review that was written by new owners in describing PastaVino from the days when the Petrucci's owned the restaurant. And after tonight, I know first hand that you do not hold a candle to the food and the experience that we offered. The tables and chairs were in shambles at opening at 5pm. The dining room was dirty and very disorganized. We sat two tables from the bathrooms but our waiter also waited on tables outside on the patio. He never spoke except to take the order. We waited thirty minutes for refills on drinks. We had to hunt for a salt shaker. Our waiter never explained the specials. He never cleared dirty dishes. You are rated as the best fried calamari but you did away with it. We wanted dessert but never found out what was offered.My point is before you critique others, make sure your house is in order.I understand clearly the challenges in running a restaurant. Ive been working in and around food for almost 35 years. Being organized is at the top of the list. Linguini and clams and rigatoni was spot on. Kudos to the chef. Tomato Caprese app a bit skimpy."

"We had dinner here last night and one of the gentlemen we found with 2 pieces of a human tooth in his antipasto. We told the waiter and the staff were in hand three times with teeth. They gave him 2 shots of Tequila to rinse his mouth and then gave him a discount on his meal. There were 4 pairs, all separate controls. I am appalled by the lack of concern and the fact that they have still brought our food to food. I will never eat here again, nor will I recommend it to everyone. You could've handled this better, and after that we should have got up and gone out. If you want to eat here, chew carefully. UPDATE: The only meal that was reduced was his. There was a vein in the bone or cartilage and after seeing it made the food that was brought out difficult. I appreciate that you contacted your suppliers, but it could have been much better treated than it was. The waiter we had was good, and it was obvious that he did not know how to handle the situation, but he did a good job to check the Lord who had the problem. We would have been given the opportunity to stay and eat or if we wanted to go. We had no options. I understand that things happen from our control, but it is how they are treated that we remember."

"The seafood pizza is probably one of the best pizzas I've had in my travels. Bocca is a not so hidden gem right on the beach. Great economical spot for breakfast or brunch. We came back 3 times in our weekend in Fort Lauderdale. Fresh food and good service. They have bogo mimosas for 6 bucks. Hard to beat. Giant amount of food that packs a flavor. The calamari was huge but tender and enough for a dinner portion. You almost share everything. Staple for our Fort Lauderdale visits"
