"It was a Saturday and a late Lunch. There were 2 of us dining. My friend had a a cup of soup a large salad, as her entree. I had the daily special $9.99 , which was an open-faced Prime Rib sandwich with a cup of au jus, the broasted potatoes side a side salad. The food came out fairly quick. But I did have to ask the waitress for a steak knife, for my Prime Rib. I could not cut it with the butter knife supplied with the tables silverware. The piece of Prime Rib lying on top of the bread slice, was quite large!! I could taste the 'rub ' on the outside edges of the meat it was tasty flavorful the Prime Rib was tender. The broasted potatoes were very good also!! One mini thing; When we came inside, we were brought to a booth that we requested to be seated at, and asked by the young lady, if she could get us something to drink right away? I was in the mood for a cocktail, so I asked if we were able to order drinks from the bar, while dining? She said yes, and I proceeded to ask if I could have a 'Clam Digger ' kind of a SE WI staple, maybe? ? She just said; 'we don 't make those '!! Silence.... So, without that apparent option, nor an offer to maybe substitute it with a '**** Mary ' from the bar, etc.... I just opted for a diet soda."
