"To make matters worse, when I was finally called up to pay, they hadn't even finished preparing the third dish in my order and had to rush it out at the last minute. I do want to acknowledge the waitstaff; they were genuinely friendly and tried to make things better by offering a $5 discount, which I appreciated. However, aside from that, I don't have much else to say positively about my experience.
Unfortunately, this was my first experience at Mondo, and while it could have been an isolated incident, as first impressions go, it will also be my last. Paying $17 for a calzone, with an extra $4 for each topping, combined with an hour and 15-minute wait on top of the original 25 minutes? That's a definite no for me—it's a situation I wouldn't want to repeat."
