"The cheese pizza I had was quite filling, but that’s where the positives end. The cheese had a rubbery texture, the sauce was insufficient and bland, and the dough was chewy, lacking both flavor and proper cooking. Overall, the pizza reminded me of the kind I endured in school, which I was eager to forget—definitely not a good sign. While pizza is generally an affordable meal option, these plain slices were over $3.50 each! For something so basic and unappealing, that's outrageous. There are countless places in and around NYC that offer much better pizza at lower prices. It's shocking how expensive this disappointing pizza is, especially given how many tourists and locals the restaurant attracts. The price for a whole pizza is somewhat reasonable, at least. Unfortunately, the worst part came shortly after finishing the pizza—I experienced a severe stomachache that felt like intense menstrual cramps for hours. I completely lost my appetite for dinner and only managed to eat some fruit, which was uncomfortable to do. It’s worth noting that I hadn’t eaten anything else beforehand, so the pizza was definitely the culprit. Who knows, maybe there was actual rubber or plastic in that cheese? I wouldn’t be shocked. The pizza on display also looked dry, overly thin, and of poor quality. Additionally, I’ve ordered from here before, and I can confirm that you cannot microwave this pizza. It cools down rapidly, so if you order more than one slice, reheating is almost a necessity. However, when you do, the pizza becomes even tougher and chewier (and tasteless) than before. Trust me, do NOT microwave this pizza. I’ve tried it and regretted ordering pizza entirely. I wouldn’t have bothered writing a review if it weren't for the stomachache—it truly was the last straw. This place will definitely be my last choice for takeout on the island from now on."

"Made a reservation for 8:30pm on their website. It was listed as a drop down option time. We walked in sat down, there was four of us, and a girl working came up to us and said “sorry our kitchen closes at 8:30, we can’t serve you food anymore”. So we got no dinner and ended up leaving. How are they going to list 8;30 as a reservation online if the kitchen closes then?!!"

"I had the Spicy Lover, it was so delicious, Rutgers to me is known for the Fat Sandwiches. Gotta love Jerz for this reason because I'm from the Midwest. "The food at Marche Madison is decent, but it’s disappointing how focused they are on money. I work nearby and usually eat lunch here because it’s convenient. One day, I ordered sushi through Grubhub and went to the restaurant to grab a soy sauce packet. The staff made a big deal out of me taking just one packet without buying anything. It was a small request, but it clearly upset her. The menu might have some good options, but given the experience, I won’t be coming back."

"We visited as our 9th anniversary dinner out. It was perfect. The ambiance was quiet, subtle and romantic. "I went there yesterday to order two grinders. Not only are the grinders pricey but being that we were in a rush to get back home which was a hr away we gave a tip. We had no time to settle down and eat so we ate are grinders late which is when we openedthem. When we opened them they had no lettuce no tomato. Not much meat or cheese. I'm 4 months pregnant with twins and alreadywas tired and was anxious for my grinder and that was so disappointing. My husband to go out and buy lettuce and tomatoes to addto our sandwich. When I called the restaurant they gonna tell me you have to ask for lettuce and tomatoes being this is anITALIAN restaurant never have I been to a restaurant like this and have to ask for lettuce and tomato. They gonna say noteveryone want that. But as advertised on the menu it says come with cheese lettuce and tomato even online the option is to sayNO lettuce and NO tomato. Which annoyed me was I never got an apology just it doesn't come with that but it's like you reallytrying to argue with me and both menu and online say the food come like that. They say they gonna give me a refund I better seeit didn't even deserve no tip never will I go back just rude people."

"I ordered the Club sandwich with ham and turkey, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of meat, bread, and condiments was perfectly balanced. On the side, I had steak fries, which were tasty, though they could have been a bit crispier and needed a little more seasoning. The kids chose breakfast items: the youngest had silver dollar pancakes (one even came in the shape of Mickey Mouse!), while the oldest went for the Four Deuces. They shared the eggs and bacon; the pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs and bacon were quite good, although the eggs could have used a touch of salt. "This is a very rude place not only did they hang up on me they also served very poor food. I cannot believe after spending $25 of my hard earned money I was given old sirloin steak with gravy in my macaroni salad. After asking for my money back or replacement I was forced to get a replacement. The replacement food was basically a mockery of what I asked the first time. I asked for a sirloin with onion and gravy platter. My sides were macaroni salad and mashed potatoes. They put the macaroni salad the first time in with the gravy, no onions. The second time they out the cold macaroni salad in with the hot sirloin platter with 1,000 onions and no gravy! I suggest no one orders from here the delivery guy is super sweet and nice. The owners and other employees super disrespectful and cunning!"

"They have dine in with Covid vaccine proof so that's a plus, they have booths that fit 1-2 people and 4 seat dining tables and the server was nice, that's about all the pros. There was a fly in here and as I currently look down at my turkey burger and sweet potato fries all I can think about is how bland the food was. I dont know what happened to the seasoning and I had very little faith they would do it properly if asked so used the salt, pepper and ketchup on the table. Managed to eat 2/3 of the burger, hardly made a dent on the fries, they give you a lot which would of been great if tasted better. Couldn't force anymore down, so taking a L with this lunch. Really wanted to try their desserts but I'm afraid it's just as bland so didnt give it a try and this fly is giving me trust issues. Maybe their other menu items taste better cause I see 5 star reviews, i guess it depends on your taste buds. An older gentleman seems to be enjoying the food behind me so to each their own. But for me it's a no, even $11 is a lot if the food comes out tasting as bland as paper and a fly you constantly have to swat away. Only salvation was the tap water, wouldve hated paying more for a drink.Correction: Not $11, I just got my receipt and he's charging me $18.51 so they are literally charging every item on your plate. The burger itself is $11 and the fries are $6, overpriced and under seasoned. On top of that he asked what side I wanted, I had assumed it was a side that came with it with the way he worded it, fine, simple misunderstanding but atleast season the food if you charging so much. The price is slapping my face with how unsatisfy I am with this dinner."

"I came here for the first time today for lunch. I got my selections from the All Day Fix Menu that only cost $19.99. For that price you get a first course, a second course and a dessert. Everything was great and the service I received was top notched. My waiter was so nice, friendly and attentive. The overall appearance of the restaurant was clean and they made sure everyone is safely distanced at each table. I will definitely go back!"
