"A few things might have brought the stars down some, but because the staff was so friendly and working so hard, they deserve the full 5 stars and then some so that?s what I?m giving. They didn?t realize we were paying attention, but their team work wasamazing. It seems there had been a huge rush before we arrived tonight (Labor Day 2022). The restaurant was nearly empty, but itwas obvious by the mess that it had been packed before we arrived. The staff was as busy as bees cleaning up and offering tohelp clean each other?s areas. The buffet was picked over, and no fresh pizza was brought out while we were there, but the pizzaflavor was good. I?m sure it was excellent when fresh. There were fresh calzone slices set out that were good. The salad bar anddesserts needed several items refilled, but had a good variety. Bathroom was spotless clean and well stocked. Price was veryreasonable (under $11 per person including tax- we did not order drinks). Would have liked to have other pizza crust optionsbesides cracker thin- nothing wrong with the thin crust, but it was the only choice. A better quality salad dressing would makethe salad bar 5 stars. The dressing was meh. Kudos for having the chili the right temperature. It was steaming HOT just like itshould be! How we learned about Pizza Inn: We were traveling through the Salem area and had noticed a billboard 2 miles away. Ifwe are in the area again, we would definitely return."
