"Having had a flavorful experience at Plaka Grill in the small, funky space in Vienna, I was motivated to try out Plaka in Falls Church when I was in FC on business one afternoon last week. The shotgun interior of the Falls Church location is much larger and borderline sterile in comparison. My appetizer, lentil soup, had a broth with the character of warm water. The ingredients were equally disappointing. I was hoping for a warm, aromatic lentil soup with depth of flavor on the chilly, rainy afternoon, but that was not the case. The pita served with it was ersatz; no pocket means it's not pita. While it had the shape and appearance of pita, it was just doughy flatbread. I intended to order their Chicago-style gyro after the soup, but the soup's lack of flavor caused me to abandon that idea and leave."

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"My family and I have been eating at Ted 's for a long time. The food is always delicious, the beer always cold, and the staff is always friendly, from the hostess all the way up to management. This was the first place I took friends form out of town to eat when we were visiting Oklahoma. My most recent experience was with an online pickup order in Lawton. When I arrived the employee let me know that they were making fresh tortillas, and that she was getting the setup ready. She went through all of the boxes with me to ensure everything was there. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized that but the employee and I didn 't noticed that all the sides were missing. I placed a call to the restaurant just to let them know for next time, not expecting them to do anything about it. Five minutes later I received a phone call from the manager who let me know that they would be refunding a portion of my bill to compensate for the missing items. This was something completely unexpected and honestly not necessary, since I was partially complicit in forgetting the items. Fortunately for me, it shows how much the team at Ted 's in Lawton cares about customer service, and the experience their patrons have with the restaurant."

"This is my first visit. I've been vegan since George W. Bush's first term and I've been to dozens of vegan restaurants from holes in the wall to fine dining. I just moved to Lawrence a few days ago and realized I lived two blocks from a vegan restaurant. I walked to it today in single digit temperatures and was not disappointed.Food: I had the Medley Bowl. It greeted my pallet with delicate spinach greens that made my heart rise in my chest, jalapenos cooked just enough to be soft yet crunchy, caramelized cashews and onions laid on top of a bed of Spanish rice then topped with a sweet chili sauce.People: The woman working the counter greeted me promptly with a masked smile, she was calm, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful.Space: There are two levels which I didn't notice at first. Upstairs seems really cozy and there was what appeared to be traveling art on the wall. If you look in from the street and it doesn't look like there is seating, look up, dine in.Value: The portion was a perfect meal size for me, and I'm not a small man. It was quite affordable. Great value.Con: I'm not crazy about plastic to-go containers and bags. Had I known about that and taken the time to look upstairs I would have definitely eaten in. I will reuse this one as much as I can before it goes into the waste stream. It is possible that quality compostable takeout containers are simply not available in the local market and if that's the case please disregard. If you can, please consider switching to something less environmentally permanent."

"Tis a place with no name for sure because the food here was not memorable. Will not be back. But they have amazing decor so it 's a good place for a coffee and laptop. You order and pay at the counter. I should not have gone here from the reviews as I 'm seeing boiled eggs in pho. I should 've known better but I was hungry and it 's cold outside. Got the pho, drink and some spring rolls. Pho was super bland and lacked any beef flavor, tastes heavily of msg. Meat was overcooked. They also don 't have any water that was offered. Spring rolls on the Yelp page are misleading and show deep fried rice paper spring rolls. Yet they served egg rolls (with a wheat and gluten wrapper). This is super dangerous for gluten intolerant humans!! Which means they may cross contaminate in their frying oil.I think this is an ok place for those who have never ever had real pho before, as it 's super Americanized and lacks any traditional flavors. But if you 're used to the good stuff I can 't recommend pho here. The build your own noodle bowl is awesome for an option but since the pho flavor was off I can 't say if it would be good!"

"First off, I would like to apologize to Mac Mart for the mix up with Mac Man when I posted a review on their page. I thought I did my due diligence with my research but I was wrong. You guys invited me to your restaurant and I accepted it. This isn't your mama's Mac and cheese. It's different... I've never had bread crumbs on my Mac and cheese but I think that makes you more full. I wish you could have added more meat in it and another seasoning that could elevate the dish even more. "The food at this restaurant was tasty, but it was not worth the high price. I used to live in Los Angeles and felt like I was paying LA prices for this food, which was overpriced. They also skimped on the sauce, giving only a small amount even when I paid extra for it. I would have rated this place three and a half stars, but I can only give full stars on DoorDash. I give the food four and a half stars, the prices one star, and side orders for sauce one star. While the food was good, I won't be ordering from here again because of the high prices. The pad Thai noodles I ordered were dry, but the flavor was still good."

"If you're in search of authentic or delicious Mexican cuisine, this is not the place for you. Unfortunately, the tortillas were exceptionally disappointing—dry, hard, stale, and crumbling. My girlfriend experienced some pretty serious gas afterward. On the bright side, the service was attentive, and I did enjoy the chips and salsa along with my Corona and lime while listening to Michael Jackson songs playing in the background. Just to note, this was my only experience in Lima, Ohio; we drove an hour and a half to meet our friend at this restaurant, and oh boy, what a letdown!"

"We ate here for the first time last night, and wow… the pub burger is the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The beer selection is descent and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend the food. The only thing I didn’t care for was the added cost on the fries and dipping sauces. For any other type of fries outside regular it’s an added $3—4.00 and dipping sauces are $0.75 each.
